Honestly, i think you're sleeping on dash. It can hit opponents on ledge, and lead to aerials. Even on ground, while predictable, it launches your opponent straight up, and can leave them open for an up smash.
@@r0mm087No they aren't. Pills get parried on block. Am top .5% Elite Smash Dr Mario. Dash attack is a good option on shield since it's safe, low profiled combos well.
Nice guide. Thank you. You might want to look into the Training Mode Mod. I was able to verify stuff like the Down Throw to up air on DI in and Down B beating neutral get up work as you said it would using that tool. Also,I thought of a good analogy for down throw to up air read kill confirm. It's like Wolf's down throw to Wolf Flash, but obviously this is way less risky.
Uptilt is nice for poking through the lower battlefield platforms and 0-30% has such little knockback is good for chaining a couple quick hits cause his moves dont really combo until opponent is at 40%. Down tilt is a solid kill comfirm set up

I can barely find any info on "Doc". 1)You forgot to mention he has a "wall jump", which can aide in his recovery. 2)He has less reach than Mario.3)He doesn't fair well against "rushdown" fighters and fighters with "reach".4)Lastly, the Super Sheet can actually be used as a sneaky edge guard. I do look forward to what you have down the pipeline in the future.

You have to dash forward, input a turn around and short-hop b-air. Do this in the training room at 1/2 speed then once you do it consistently well, do the RAR b-air at 2/3 speed and finally do this at normal speed.

2:12 never noticed before that the fast fall blink wasn't in the same location in relation to the character each time. why would they even make it seemingly random? would be nice to use it to read the exact high and thus timing needed for things. _this of course has nothing to do with the video. Doctor mario is technically worse than little mac but i am comfy with him with his d air combos and such give him better strings than little mac he has less kill power than mario because up air to foward air kills eariler but i have some things that help with damage wracking join me in replies
Not even close. Dr Mario caps at high tier due to good mus. Pikachu, snake, peach, Yoshi, Diddy Kong are all top tier/high tier mus he wins or goes even in. He just struggles vs cloud, corrin, zss, and aegis. Realistically you have a mid tier dependent on whether the meta is filled with swordies or setplayers.

The “smash attack cancel” is called a sliding tilt. It’s macs main way to get the secret dtilt hit box the combos into upb as a kill confirm

what i love doing with dr mario is dash atttack up air forward air and if you want to spice it up, put an up tilt in between the dash attack and u air

The higher you are when you use pill the higher it will bounce so if you want it to reach the second platform you have to full hop
