2003 F350 7 3L Seatbelt retracting issue-fix

2003 F-350 XLT Seatbelt issue where the seatbelt won't retract back into the seat. Wanted to show you guys how i fixed my issue. Leave any questions or comments below. F-350, 7.3L, powerstroke, diesel truck.

How necessary was it to open the back of the seat? I have a similar seat (2004) but don't really want to take the back off. How much do you think just cleaning the top would help?

it wasn’t necessary just showing how to take it off in case you wanted to remove the entire seatbelt assembly. cleaning the top part might help more than you’d think! good luck

Have you ever have any issues with the passenger side, locking up?

I am fighting the same issue in my truck with the passenger side locking up all the time also, did you ever figure out a fix?
