Over the last 3 months I've watched every one of your videos and it has sparked my energy to get the '31 Coupe running, after languishing for 8 years in my hangar. Thanks to you I revived 40-50 year old memories of "fix it like you know how to drive it". Today I was able to drive it like I knew how to fix it. New starter and Bendix, distributor rebuild with NuRex wrench (Wow!), carburetor jets that I had water-tested 20 years ago, and a new Series I 6V battery and it started up on the first 1/4 crank and idled like an adoring crowd was listening. Thanks again.

A great vid as always. I had an impossible to clean cast iron Zenith carb on my 1950 LI Gravely. I tried to clean it using the normal methods but I just couldn't get the idle circuit to work it was too rusty. I eventually bought a gallon of evapo-rust and sat the carb in it with a bubbler for a couple of days. Upon taking it out and rinsing it off I was amazed on how good the carb looked. It honestly looked like it was brand new and it has worked perfectly since. So if you get one that just won't clean up keep this in mind.🙋‍♂😊

Hi Paul! Thanks for another interesting Carb video! Was always mystified with carbs in shop class! Watching your videos actually makes me think I could work on a Zenith carb! I don't know why there is some sort of "police" for everything. The tool police need to calm down and polish their $18,000 set of (insert brand name here) tools and let people work on stuff the way they want! A good (American made) adjustable wrench can be SO useful while working on a project. You don't have to sort through a tray of tools trying to find the right size, it doesn't matter if it is metric or SAE, and if bodacious amounts of torque are not needed, what's the diff?
