    Hi, thanks for the comment. Unfortunately the gym we are able to use has a bit of a slippery floor. Ideally, she would be working outside, sliding her load foot horizontally across the rubber, and settling in on the rubber to load.

    I would NOT use that Xelerator thing if you're following our model. It looks like it helps you finish with your elbow pointed to the catcher, which we do NOT advocate. We believe it severely limits speed and increases your chance of injury. There could be a lot of reasons your daughter is stuck at the same speed, but we can't diagnose the problem without seeing her.     Your video does not indicate this is a Walkthrough type of drill, so she should not be sliding her front foot forward or you are reinforcing muscle memory for an illegal pitch. I agree with everything else and if she was performing a walkthrough or pass through for hip explosion, I would agree with this as well.

    Sliding foot; yikes! not a "great pitch!".....
