To be fair you weren’t running entirely on vanilla and instead you were using sodium, which helps with game performance, I think
Only rendering performance, most of the pain in this video was related to CPU processing which sodium doesn't really help with, rendering also doesn't really cause crashes it just makes things slow, which is why the minecarts weren't that bad
@@williamsmith6921 ah ok so it affected a small bit of performance overall (with the minecarts at least) but not much else, gotcha
It also allows for the shader to run, so… kinda increased the load more than the efficiency helped

Many years ago when entity stacking was relatively new, a friend of mine tried to summon a villager riding a horse.
They got the structure backward, and instead summoned a horse riding a villager.
Attempting to load the chunk where this reversed cavalry roamed would instantly crash the game.
Eventually we made a fenced off exclusion zone around the area which would load it. I guess we sort of invented a cryptid too horrible to be known?
Regardless, the point is there may be some additional power in simple entity corruptions rather than spamming complex ones.

Rethinking Voxels causes a 4090 to get down to 60fps on ultra settings, so that would be fun
Quite ironic, Mysticat only has an RTX 2070
also softvoxelslite makes me go down to like 20fps on my 4060 on max settings in some environments, it also looks really nice and has colourerd lighting, its just also not friendly with my pc
Still better than my pc I used for Java until it stopped supporting it it was a windows 7 pc! 😂

On Modrinth, you can sort the Shaders by performance Impact. When you do this, the first 4 Shaders that show up are Rethinking Voxels, Bliss, Noble, and Ark.

1. [app] is not responding is not a crash, it is the app not calling windowhandler (or the equivalent) for a while
2. one thing you should try is 1 layer of redstone blocks and 1 layer on tnt on top, last time i tried this Minecraft unceremoniously closed within a second

Idea: use command blocks to spawn TONS of mobs in one place then stand inside it to crash the game

R9 5950x + RTX 2070S is still a really good combo, but it's not the best PC, + there is a bit of gpu bottleneck, but there is in every pc, so that's not an issue. The problem is that it's not the best computer as many of you may think. (this is just a rewiew of his pc from a PC enthusiast, no hate or critisism to Mysticat or anyone watching, it just sounds like Mysticat has the best pc there is if someone that doesn't know PCs is watching, I totally accept the choice, just saying things from a PC enthusiast Point Of View. +if you are wondering, where did I get the specs from, 0:51 F3 is open, and in the left-middle of the screen, there are the specs)

I'm pretty sure an auto clicker would be slightly more efficient than holding down a letter key, as you can set most auto clickers to click every millisecond. This is me assuming there would be a slight cooldown between 'clicks' when holding down a letter key as opposed to an auto clicker. As I said, I am assuming, so I haven't actually tested it myself. I just use an auto clicker because at the very least it would be the same as holding a key down.
You can spawn a load of elder guardian particles for one player only if you want to crash one person specifically. Feel free to use this because it's apparently working as intended, so Mojang won't fix it. Also, if you let the crash fully play out (takes around a minute to 5 minutes), the game will say it ran out of memory.

there is a fast way to crash minecraft that i know of , its called : opening a world that is corrupt because of a removed mod / opening a world with exactly 98604 bees ( stuck in a single block with a vine ) , & 9842 large chests full with shulker boxes of written books

0:25 rethinking voxels uses ray tracing.

while it might have not seemed like it, the tnt test and the minecart test were probably the hardests ones for your machine. it didn't look convincing because the metric chosen (fps) did not accurately represent the damage being done (tps would've been more representative). in summary: the sand, tnt and minecart tests affected the server and the armor stand and effect cloud affected the client (armor stands don't take a lot of resources when resting on the ground and don't collide with other entities. effect clouds are even worse at lagging since they don't even process momentum)
the actual fastest way is to cause a ClassCastException with a redstone component on a version older than 1.20.2 (search shulker box update supression for more about this)

Mysticat, how did this pc cost you 5000 dollars. I looked at your specs from the task manager and the f3 menu and couldn't figure out how a 2070 and an R9 5950x plus 32 gigs of ram could cost anywhere near that much. Even guesstimating on any parts we didn't get to see, that would be insane.

About the shaders : astralex shaders, a bsl edit are the hardest shaders to run. They are also beautiful af so yeah, u should have used those.

I'm not entirely sure if this would work, but what about summing creepers with 127 explosion radius and 0 fuse on all entities? I'm pretty sure that would make all of those drop items for all the blocks they break, which would make the rate of increase even faster. (I haven't tested it though, so the creepers might just blow up eachothers items, or maybe they just don't drop items at all at that radius idk)
Wait! There was one more glitch to break Minecraft. You got to make a very small like square out of barrier blocks and then spam crown the mobs together>:D

The minecart one may not be crashing your game, but it no doubt makes it practically unplayable. Anything related to tick speeds will just be frozen lol.

The reason why the armor stands crashed the game was that the armor stands count as entity’s themselves so they were multiplying with every single in-game tick

There was this one time where I was playing on a relatively meh computer with pretty basic shaders. It started to lag a little, so I turned the shaders off. And then the game was loading to remove the shaders. And then it was loading… and then it was still loading. All the while my computer was getting louder, and louder, and still louder. Eventually, after a long time of waiting, finally…
My entire house lost power
And then as soon as it was done and my computer stopped screaming, it turned back on
