Buster Rhymes and Fat Jo can exit this way. No culture, but coping Black Culture all over the world. If it stated in New York why is all the OG said no way.
Let’s keep it a buck. All Latinos are getting heat over what Fat Joe says. We are being called anchor babies or theters and saying you’ll deport us. Literally t’s a wrong term because Latins/ natives are the original people of America. We showed FBA nothing but respect. Mexico declared slaves freed once they made it across to their borders. Tone the rhetoric down and only go after Fat Joe.
Idk what homeland you speak of. Original Africans where extremely violent towards each other. Too the point that the country was so broken from civilly war that it easily lead us to the Atlantic slave trade. Not just Americans took advantage of it but the entire world.
Y’all got the fact wrong the origin of their beef is not because of what fat Joe wore, and Jamar called him out. It’s because Lord Jamal constantly not only call out fat Joe, but KRS-One and Busta Rhymes, who, for some reason are saying that hip-hop music was not created by Black people alone.
The original subject is beginning to get lost in mary peoples opinions and conversations. We know how it started " Who(What culture created Hip Hop?") To answer the question that i have yet to hear is "What culture 1st decided to create a vocal rhyme pattern about their experiences in the living conditions they were in and make it attractive enough to attract other cultures to want to join? When it comes to only Key inventing and creating of Hip Hop. 1. The concept of the "Merry-Go-Round," as invented by Herc, symbolizes the idea of looping or repeating breaks over and over. This technique is the first fundamental to the identity of a hip-hop DJ. To fully appreciate the significance of Herc's merry-go-round, one must understand that it laid the foundation for breakdancing; without both the merry-go-round and the Breakers, hip-hop culture itself may not have emerged. 2. Flash's Quick Mix Theory represents the evolution of Herc's merry-go-round concept. What distinguishes Flash's approach is his refinement of the merry-go-round technique, integrating scratching as an instrument while manually mixing tracks simultaneously. 3. The original creator of breaking is Spy, a Puerto Rican. who is confirmed by Herc, Crazy Legs and every real breaker / Bboys as Spy being the first Breaker/Bboys that they ever seen doing the moves. 4. Julio 204 played a pivotal role in establishing the graffiti movement in New York from 1967 to 1970 and was also Puerto Rican, Taki 189 Himself confirm that his inspiration was by seeing Julio 204 Tags all over New York, Which makes Julio 204 the Beginning of the Tagging / Graffiti movement in New York. 5. Coke La Rock himself said that, The work "Jibaro" by The Puerto Rican Felipe Luciano of the Last Poets served as an inspiration for MCing. The Last Poets were comprised of individuals from African and Caribbean backgrounds, not fba 6. Bambaataa was instrumental in unifying the various elements of hip-hop and establishing the movement itself. Analyzing the contributions, it becomes evident that Caribbean artists were key creators and innovators of hip-hop, a statement grounded in factual evidence rather than personal opinions. Basically, when they say James Brown, or Funk, soul, Jazz, or ect, its all contributions to Hip Hop development, not hip hop creations! just like Salsa, Mambo, Bolero, plena, bomba or ect, its all contributions of developing the sound, thats all it is, because what was actually invented in Hip Hop was the merry-go-round concept, and the Quick Mix Theory concept, the rest of the art forms are rooted to ancient and medieval civilizations our civilizations just added/Contributed or revolutionized those art forms !!! Prior to Herc's introduction of the merry-go-round, all DJs were merely playlist DJs; they did not loop the breaks, Herc invented that concept, which is first element that defined a real hip-hop DJ. which is not the same as a playlist dj, who was some who just play full songs, because if want to go to that direction Dj, Mixing, was created by the radio stations and nightclubs, and the white man created that. not fba This information is well-documented, supported by published accounts, and validated by hip-hop scholars, pioneers, and participants who were present during these pivotal events. The evidence regarding the key figures who instigated significant changes in hip-hop is indisputable and factual and not based on feelings based opinions and delusional lies ! ! !
I understand what you are saying. But you have to listen to the primary sources. The people who were actually there at the very beginning. Hip hop started with the street kids before Herc. It started from style of dressing, style of dancing, style of talking. Herc noticed how kids would crowd around and jump on the dance floor during the break beats of the songs. Kids noticed the break beats before Herc's era and made their own dances to them. This is what black people have been doing since before slavery. We created all major genres of music and also created dances to match the genre. Along with the style of fashion to match. But all of a sudden with hip hop everybody claims to have created it. Without James brown there might not have been a sound for hip hop. There's no foreign based beat for hip hop, it's funk in which James Brown created. On the ONE is what JB created and that was the base for all of the very first rap songs. There was nothing but black American culture during the birth and origins of rap and hip hop. We move on after we get enough of our created music and dances then others pick it up years later and add their twists to it. Look at blues, jazz, rock, country, disco, funk and dances. After we throw it away the sound is watered down to appeal to others. This is why rap and hip hop today sounds the way it does and the reason why it is no longer made for me and many others who prefer real hip hop. Outside of black people there were very few others who enjoyed hip hop. As the music was commercialized to sell to others the record companies started to cater to others for more album sales. That is what really happened!!!!
Common sense, 50+ yrs there’s no 50/50 reflections! Most PR’s, etc were banned fm embracing any American culture fm what I remember growing up with them
