I would love to hear the explanation of why spending $1000+ on a shifter is worth it to mimic a dog box sequential

Did you use the short version for the IS? The long mount seems like it would be too far back? I’m running similar setup as you 2jzgte Vvti cd009. Sent S1 a message and didn’t get much of a response except “look at the diagram”

@KBNZ did you have issues getting the shifter installed and shifting properly? I bought the same kit and mine was skipping gears and grinding. The company is giving me a hard time about returning it.
I've been hearing the same issues from multiple people. Seems like a design flaw since it's a fairly common issue

So do you have to clutch in with shifts?
Yes you still need to use the clutch when shifting
@@KBNZUS makes sense, it does remove a lot of shifting error so that’s great
@@KBNZUS just fyi... maybe, you can use quickshifter module just like on motorcycle so you can full throttle while change gear without clutch...

Are you still sequential if so how is it going?
I am still sequential but currently having some issues I will address in the next video, if I don’t resolve the issues I’ll be going back to a normal shifter
