This channel could grow to be something like Cyprus except a boy and with more of a literary focus than an art focus. It seems to me like you chose the winner based on the avatar’s smile being the conduit for his standard of beauty rather than the standard of beauty used by your current profile picture, which in my opinion comes from the antennas. This use of a beauty standard would be typically more a feature for female characters; however, it looks like you made it work with a male character. Fascinating choice!

Thats some interesting wing anatomy. One wing pair that is similar to one parent while the other pair more closely resembles what the other parent would have. Bet that allows for some rather surprising forms of airborne maneuvering. Great design and great art.

I’m happy that my piece made it, buuuuuuut… I’m even MORE happy to have seen all that amazing art! Amazing job to everyone who entered! I watched Osprey’s video as soon as it released (speed paint of Qibli and JMA sitting at a table with the pink lighting and the drink with a two-sided straw and whatnot), and I was thinking to myself, “if this doesn’t get some sort of special mention, I’m going to… just be sad or something, I don’t know. I don’t need to know, ‘cause it’s gonna get a special mention for sure”.
Hahaha, I didn't learn about the release of the speedpaint until like two weeks after it went up. I saw the artwork they submitted, of course, and I was so happy about it, but getting to see it all come together was just that much more awesome.
