He tried out the C-Leg®, the Rheo Knee®, and the Plié®, each for two weeks at a time. As a busy father of active children, Matt really had a chance to put the legs through their paces. "If I have to take off and run after my kids -- maybe pull them back from the street -- I need a knee that doesn't hesitate," he notes.
Matt found that the C-Leg was the clear winner, because "it keeps up with you -- it doesn't take so much effort to make a move." Whether you're a new user or an experienced one, Matt says "you'll notice the difference. You can do so much more with it." To him, using the C-Leg "doesn't feel like you're walking with an artificial limb."

I just received a new c leg and I love it. I don't seam to limp as much and it is so smoth. I can walk almost normal. I have been using mechanical knees for 30 years.

Is the movement of the leg affected by shoe changes. My boyfriend works in an office but hunts religiously and wants to be able to use both his super light nike shoes and his hunting boots but is worried about the height of a boot v. Tennis shoes and the weight difference in the two?

The C-leg doesn't do well with weight differences between shoes as it would need to be recalibrated each time by your prosthetist. I have a C-leg myself, and wish I could change shoes more. You can't really change heel height either. But overall it's a very good leg

Please show a video of switching to swing stance with C-Leg 4. I found a video that describes how to do it but I need to SEE the difference between C-Leg 3 and 4
