    The grain tip for youtube posting actually was a jaw dropper for me

      Glad we could help! That was a huge bummer for me when I had to remove all my grain from footage so it can live on YT. Also, if you're shooting low light and your shortage is grainy (but you still like it), this could have the same effect.

    Fascinating conversation! Loved gaining insight into the process of indie filmmakers crafting that iconic cinematic look. The exchange between the director and DP is so insightful, it's amazing how much thought and intention goes into creating that distinctive visual aesthetic. Can't wait to apply some of these tips to my own projects!

    For the most part I am not trying to overly stylize my image. I am just tying to get the most natural look possible.
