The vast amount of game variety is second to none. Take that little beauty to the Wii shop to see if you can re-download any VC digital games registered to that console.

Every wii mold is made for GameCube Nintendo screwed the covers on for the GameCube ports so the holes would be covered up on the late 2011 and later consoles do to not having GameCube ports. Try unscrewing the covers on a later model to see the holes.
Man that Wii looks real nice, I would think they just changed the housing, but if they just buffed it instead then they are doing what GameStop was supposed to do instead of just grinding the shine off, but yeah it still feels like too steep, now I fell going to a second hand shop in my neighbourhood to get a Wii they have for $60.

Especially when you consider the fact that the backwards compatible PS3s are the most prone to getting the yellow light of death, which requires some very advanced soldering to fix 99.5% of the time (unless you get EXTREMELY lucky and something other than the GPU or the RAM is causing the issue).

true because I bought Splatoon 1 renewed on amazon and one of the things bad happened was the bottom would close but top wouldn't because the clippie things got ripped off and a part was bent (idk what's it called) But every else was fine the disk thankfully had no scratches.
I love the wii, but i refuse to buy from ebay or etsy, with my experience from those sites the games aren't going to work, and the console will be so scratched up it'll look like somebody just dragged sandpaper all over it

Not really, I bought a Nintendo 64 and the bottom part of the shell had a break and a place near the plug in where the security screw went into was broke and just glued back on.
A couple years back I was playing wii sports resort table top tennis and as I was hitting the ball I threw it right in to the tv and completely broke the screen

with modding, you can check if the housing was replaced by viewing the setting.txt file's serial number
