He doesn’t just set up the camera at the end of the trek in. He sets it up in multiple locations along the way to film the journey to and from the campsite. No mean feat when you’re hiking with a pack and dragging a sledge in snowshoes.

I discovered this video last year around a time when I was in the worst spot of my life. I was just waiting for winter because anything snowy or anything wintery just makes me so happy. This video brought me so much joy in a time I didn't even know feeling joy was possible. I come back to this video a lot just to enjoy the feeling of winter, and to enjoy the outdoors when I'm not outside. I would die for Monty
I'm the same. Watching camping out in the cold winter in a snowstorm, makes me feel all comfortable hunkered down in my warm spot. Wishing I was out there with a nice warm fire and a furry friend for company. I'm in heaven.

He has proper audio in the FOREST DURING A SNOWSTORM while he’s like 3-5meters away from the camera. I know some RUclipsrs that have worse audio at home
Yeefay Ng they are separate devices, if you were to see the video itself it wouldn’t have any audio that’s why alot of people clap before starting in order to easily sinc up the audio to the video when editing

he has a seperate mic, the camera wouldnt pick anything up. This gives really really nice audio for talking but this also makes us hear every breath someone says.

there is something so pacifying about being warm and safe and dry in a tiny little domicile while the elements are terrible outside. Even just sitting in a car when it's raining. I've always assumed because it is a womb like environment.

When I can't sleep I envision myself in this type of sleeping situations. Sometimes it's a tent on the side of a mountain, a primitive cabin maybe. I live in a rural farm house but sometimes something even more remote is nice to think about.
So true, sleeping in the winter and than waking up in the morning when it's freezing cold and the bed is all warm, the feet area is so warm, you sick your head under there and just smile and enjoy just laying there for 15 more minutes. Than the real shit starts, getting out :p

Just subbed. Back in the early 60's I lived about 8 miles west ( "out in the country") of a small town with less than 25,000 people. It's way in West central Colorado. Grand Junction was just about 100% agrarian back then. It topped 100 K in the 80's with the shale oil boom.....but I digress 😬
