Second trip to Pakistan, and this time we took Etihad Airways from Bangkok to Abu Dhabi Airport to Karachi. I was excited to fly on Etihad because it was my first time.
Our first flight from Bangkok to Abu Dhabi, UAE, was fantastic, although it left late due to some unforeseen circumstances. The flight was great, staff were nice and food was ok.
When we landed at Abu Dhabi we only had about 45 minutes until our next flight to Karachi departed. And we had to board a bus that dropped us off on the opposite side of the airport and had to get through security checks. I was hoping to give you a bit more of an Abu Dhabi airport tour in this video, but we literally had to sprint through the airport to our next flight.
We got to the gate just in time, they were already boarding.
Since Abu Dhabi to Karachi was just a 1 hour 45 min flight and it was in the middle of the night, there wasn't much food on the flight apart from a few sandwiches.
Great to be back in Pakistan and I can't wait to share a few videos with you!

Same happened to me with etihad while return from London to Mumbai.
Our London to abu dhabi flight reached 90 min late and we had just an hour for next flight which was on entirely different terminal.
Hence we ran like you and ying.
Ying is pretty skilled in running :'D

I know the feeling. Was headed back to US from Barcelona. Had to fly into London and our flight was late. We also had to take a bus to the other side of terminal. To top it off we got delayed at check point. Ended up running the whole way to our gate. Was practically in tears. Running to catch a flight has got to be one of the worst!

The government forbids entry to my Jewish nationality. They also have some problems with Christians being assaulted and murdered, although I don't say that all the Pakistani people hate Jews and Christians, by any means. I had Pakistani friends in grad school abroad, and they wanted to know all about Israel.

I had two back to back flights with Etihad Airways when I came to USA. First one from Karachi to Abu Dhabi 2 hours. Then Abu Dhabi to San Francisco 16 hours long. Even though it was my first ever flight, I greatly enjoyed the service of Etihad on Boeing 787.

He definitely will. I moved from NY to TX where there are very few maybe 1 Puerto Rican/Dominican Restaurant, just ALOT of Mexican restaurants. Havent really gravitated towards mexican food. Im just missing my PR/Dom food.

Glad you enjoyed the Etihad experience. I have flown with them many times over the years in Business and First and found them to be excellent. Sadly they have been down graded to a 4 Star airline by Skytrax and so many reviews were all about them cutting costs etc. On some flights of say 14 hours you get 1 meal and then you have to pay for anything else you want to eat in economy. In Business I hear the quality of the food and the amount of food served has also declined. And they are charging people to select their seats in economy. Its a great shame as I always found them to be among the best!! And yes luggage going missing..apparently not enough staff at the home airport to handle the luggage transfer as they have layed off so many people!!

Alot of hispanic woman like that also. Wake up early, make fresh coffee, homemade tortillas, bread, etc- fresh breakfast, pack a fresh homemade lunch for husband, get dressed, get child/children ready, go to work, stop at store, make dinner, clean kitchen, etc.,...

Love the airport and airplane reviews. Have flown with etihad a good few times and always found entertainment system good also flight attendants very helpful.
