Amplifiers are pretty easy to keep happy. No shorts, no DC going into it. And assuming the amplifier is correct on its settings such as DC offset, and quiescent bias level, should work flawlessly for a very long time. Not all power conditioners are not created equal. Though many of them will be current limited for instance keeping your amplifier from seeing its true potential. I use your power conditioner on the BAS-X A2 and have 2 of them, and they run a treat. I also still have the XPA-2 gen1, and it runs great now in my Brother's setup. As long as you run your amplifier inside its scope of performance, and your connections are good, and your speakers are electrically good, and the source is not sending anything it shouldn't, any amplifier will be fine. Fun to watch the video here, it has good basic troubleshooting anyone can understand.

Good sounding amplifiers over all. I do like modular design because you can swap modules to see the fault as don't fear doing some repairs myself. I would say your are right Vincent Chen. Most failures are from people doing something wrong like shorting terminals etc?

I would love to get the bass xa5 and xa6. And would love to get your airmotiv speakers for a 5.2.4 or 7.2.4 setup. Maybe one day.

I was buying amplifiers in Central Florida. Ended buying a Parasound and by default an XPA-Gen 1. Have to say the Emotiva just sounds better with a Marantz AVR. I'm running Polk towers that are rated 500 watts. I chose the Emotiva over the Parasound for my main stage. Be curious to "Bi Amp", with them both if i get bored. Emotiva stays nice and luke warm no matter how hard I drive it. Emotiva sounds sweet with Marantz preouts and high end Polk.

By the way, which Marantz AVR model is in your set-up ?!?

Right now its a SR6012 and only pushing smaller surround speakers. I love the dual independent controlled sub outs and mostly wanted it for the pre outs.

Can anyone diagnose for me? Have basx a300 and a5175. On startup they both trigger on. The 300 lights are blue immediately as they should be. The 5175 lights are initially red for a second and then all five are blue.
Any idea on what is causing this?

Fault protection. Who cares as long as long as all channels are working. Are you running anything in 4 ohm impedence by any chance.

Poweroutage happened at my Town. F1 fuse is blowing on powersupply. Gen3 Is it possible to get a schematic? I am a Red Seal Journeyman Electronic Tech with almost 40 Years of experience. Further to that there is a Diode shorted out which is soldered on the board. Rooky mistake, I was so excited to just change the Diode I forgot to check which direction it was pointed. Is there anyway to find out?
