It’s been an absolute blast and “Camilo’s Interlude” will go down in my discography as one of my most treasured songs. This couldn’t have happened without you all, and I’m so very blessed to have your support. Of course, I also can’t not mention Juanse’s enthusiasm to jump on board for this song! On a more personal note: I am trying to make a career out of producing music. Yikes, right? But - I’m praying this song blows up so more lovely folks like yourselves become privy to my other songs. It’s all kinda just sat there on Spotify collecting dust for years, but nonetheless I kept releasing music for the catharsis of it. One thing I noticed about some fan made and official Encanto songs is that they're about a character's struggles/depression that can also be relatable in real life...it's embarrassing to admit that I love the songs 😅

This is honestly so cute. I like that Dolores is comforting Camilo.
This entire song is basically Dolores showing how seriously she takes her duties as an older sister as well as showing Camilo how much she truly loves him. If this were in the movie, there'd be so many tears shed.
the small auto effect on their voices kinda puts me off a bit- but thats just a veeeery minor personal gripe, cuz despite that i still think this version of the song is great!! just as great as the original in my opinion, maybe even somewhat better! since i feel like these voices fit the char's who their portraying and amplifies the tone of the song : ) this channel never fails to amaze me with the great songs you produce
Aww thanks! On the note of audio effects, I didn’t change the vocals too much-just some necessary autotune but I do think the layering I did with the vocals covers it up more than if it weren’t layered. It’s almost always a necessity to pitch correct in songs with multiple singers. The style of this song changed ever so slightly with the vocal performances I received so I do think it fits. Personal preference and all that. That’s kinda just where I was coming from; you gotta mold your song sometimes in a different shape to make it flow better. I’m glad you liked it!

Aaah there it is! I already loved this song before, but it sounds so much cooler with the instrumentation!
Adassa sounds so good, it's almost as if this song was made just for her!
Juanse sounds great too, it's just a pity that he's singing in the lower octave, I feel like he would've been more comfortable if he sung in the higher octave, but in a lower key (a few semitones). His voice really shines in the end when he's singing in a higher register, I wish it would've been like that in the whole song.
But overall I love it, the mixing is amazing as well! :)

Thank you! Ultimately I decided to go with a lower register since the higher register was a bit too energetic for the beginning, and Adassa’s higher parts complement his voice quite well in my opinion. I do lovvve the vocals he sent me for the end! He did such a good job. 😌🤩

The 'no I don't' at the end made me have like. A frikkin' seizure. It was like my body was holding back the chills until the end because the steps at the beginning just set the mood for me and then the instrumental here is utterly astounding-my ears will never be the same again, they've been spoiled-and then the voices (I can't even talk about the voices, they're godly) and the effects and it's just so good that you all just about made me convulse on the floor for a few minutes

Hey, I think you are incredible. Not only you did an amazing job composing this song, but you also got the av to sang it. Although I would have preferred more simplistic (I mean the electronic voices. I just don’t really catch Adassa’s voice), it turned out great. Maybe you could upload another version? This is a fan song, so I took creative liberties. Nobody said this is canon, it's just my personal take on the characters. If you don't like how I characterized Camilo or Dolores, cool. If you do like it, also cool! The reality of being a creator is that I'm not gonna please everyone, and it'd be self-destructive to try. Everyone is allowed to have an opinion on music, art, whatever they want, but at the end of the day I'm not going to change any of my songs post-production because somebody didn't like X Y Z. Just remember that before commenting. The most important thing-for both my sanity and muse-is if I like what I've created. And, thankfully, I do in fact like how I produced this song.
