I can’t believe the actual voice actress who played Dolores will be in this song that’s so amazing. This has to be turned into a extra feature song or something or put into the encanto show I heard disney might make
@@conormcmahon1727 She can hear more than just voices. She can hear an eye twitching in the next room. Therefore she can hear rolling over, stretching, steady breathing and any number of normal sleep sounds from everyone in the house.
Possibly, but imagine this. There's a clock in every room, ticking at its own speed. Every single minute of every day, you hear the ticking of the clocks, but it suddenly stops. Now every room is practically dead silent. How would you feel then?
@@pixiheartgirl6768 Yeah, I imagine it that way aswell. It's a bit as if you lost your sense of hearing overall. The silence would potentially make you more nervous, simply because it's an extreme lack of sensory information.
@@vrinda7498 I can understand where you're coming from, but it would still be unnerving, like constantly having a leaky pipe over you that randomly drops water. You would get tense, always waiting for the next drop because that's what's supposed to be there, even if it's extremely random. Even if it pauses for a while, there's still a chance the next drop will come down.
there is no way disney themselves can NOT notice this. Imagine how lucky it is to have the one and only OR3O write a song about Dolores and get the actual voice actor to take part in it!!
They probably made this with Disney's permission. Sometimes there's a deal between company and actors about not voicing their character in other projects.
I love how during the chorus, you get a sense of what having Dolores' gift is like. Constantly hearing everyone talking at once. Not to mention, Dolores singing in a hushed tune up until towards the end of the song was a very nice touch. Also, Adassa was amazing!
every time a character who *isn't* Dolores starts singing, all the background noise suddenly stops, it's like when you're at a movie theater and suddenly the movie goes silent and you're just like "what the frick just happened"
I like that cause it kinda depicts how Dolores can’t think straight because she can always hear something in the background and other characters live more in peace with silence
The fact that Adassa would take part in a fan song just shows how sweet and supportive she is!! (Btw who else is in love with Luisa's part of the song)
What really makes this song define Dolores is that during the song, you can hear all the other voices-just like Dolores can. It brings together how she hears things, and just how chaotic it must be for her
Also notice at the end when everyone gets their powers back, on the door of Casita, DOLORES CARVING DOES NOT SMILE. She’s not okay with having it back.
That’s because Dolores isn’t the main character. The movie is about Mirabel and Abuela Alma. Every character has a purpose in the story and Dolores has her role as a side character. She doesn’t need character development when the story is not about her. Lord almighty people are more obsessed with side characters than actually paying attention to the main characters/the story it’s about.
@@carsfan1995 Then why are you listening to the song? Also its because we have the main characters fleshed out already in the movie, people see the potential development of side characters in future works.
@@cerealcascade3564 Exactly! I’m not saying anything negative towards Dolores or this song. I’m just sick of fandom culture’s obsession with side characters over main ones.
I saw many chats during live especially "she sound so like Dolores".man I think we all know their reactions when they found out it's actually the real Voice actress of Dolores
I saw this video at 4:00am with my besties at a sleepover! When the credits were in the beginning and it said Adassa no joke started screaming! Lmao I’m sure I woke my bff’s parents
This is that one song that you avoid in your playlist because you think it’ll sound awful but you actually listen to it and it becomes the best song you’ve ever heard in your life

Oh my god. This literally should have been a song in Encanto. It TRULY sounds like a Dolores song, it even has Dolores rapping in it like she usually does. This is amazing and I love this so much, you guys did such a great job.
I love the small detail that during the chorus you can hear everyone singing and talking, kinda like you're hearing what Dolores hears all the time. So clever
I was about to comment "Whoever voiced Dolores in this sounds EXACTLY like the voice actor" and HOLY MAMA IT'S THE ACTUAL VOICE ACTOR!!!!! OR30 is truly a legend.
I loved how they got Adassa to voice Dolores in this song. Believe me, or don't, but my best friend is one of Adassa's daughters. She goes to my church, and we did a recording session in her basement as a youth mutual. Finding out that Adassa was her mother really took me by surprise.
A detail I really like is that, if you listen closely, you can hear Bruno singing before his part comes up. With everyone else, you can hear their bits overlapping in the chorus after they sing their parts of the verses. It’s like a nod at how Dolores could hear Bruno in the walls the whole time
the fact that Dolores always whispers in the movie is because of her ears, but here in this song there was a moment where she screams and shows how anxious and frustrated she is, this song made me see how Dolores felt with her gift. She became one of my favorite characters and i loved this song so much!
I had always struggled to see how Dolores’s gift was a blessing; everything about it just sounds nightmarish. Even the creators said that Dolores’s room probably has soundproofing, which feels like more of an apology than an extension to her gift
And according to how she heard Luisa’s eye twitching at night, either her room isn’t actually soundproof, or all the soundproofing in the world still can’t stop Dolores from hearing everything.
@@frostyvoid827 but it’s a magic house with magic rooms, right? What’s stopping the soundproofing from being complete if a f*cking rainforest ecosystem with animals can be summoned out of the candles magic? Unless I’m missing something here, I haven’t watched the movie yet (and don’t mind spoilers)
@@briar2603 The eye twitching was actually during the night while they were all sleeping. Since Doroles says it in the morning during breakfast that she heard it specifically "all night" :0
Imagine when she first got her gift, she just goes from happy to everything on 100x volume. Probably only slept from exhaustion the first couple months. She was truly the most tragic character.
"Clear blue skies, no rain, just shine" Not Dolores repeating her mother's words just like her when she's anxious. (this song has so many layers istg-)
Let’s just hope her room has extra noise cancelling walls, poor girl must be having a sensory overload. Imagine how her first night felt, or when she opened the door. The candle really said, “let’s make Pepas side suffer”
@@Vivian2043 seems like a first world problem compared to the others literally suffering. Plus camilo is a jolly guy, he doesnt have an inferiority complex, unlike you. @@kittenmimi5326 how would you know if I have an inferiority complex? And, even if I do, what does it have to do with what I just said? Besides, how much does a person need to suffer in order to satisfy your expectations? Minimizing him just because he doesn't look traumatized to you (and he doesn't even have that much screentime for you to make assumptions wtf) just lowers the standard.
Imaging while Dolores was under a lot of pressure, every night she listened to the poem from Mariano, who is so innocent and gentle. I finally understand why Dolores fell in love with him.
THIS IS AMAZING. Dolores basically has her own song now, her original voice actor singing Dolores' part. This is just beautiful. Imagine Camilo or Antonio getting their own song as well
Guys imagine if in the actual movie this would be song of song of Dolores and Camilo revealing their villain plans of stoping the powers (idk why Camilo, he is just unused in the movie but would fit the role of all these different people Dolores had to listen to in the song)
Dolores is the only one unhappy with her powers, from the beginning, Mirabel said” my cousin Dolores, can hear this from a mile away“ so I can imagine what it’s like just sitting in the middle of town, hearing it all coming from all directions at all times you just wanna cry, because even when you cover your ears you can still hear it. then you start hearing things people don’t want you to hear but it’s really important and then what are you supposed to do?
really all the family is unhappy, pepa is constantly repressing emotions which causes the negative emotions that do come out to be even more extream (thus leading to even more pressure to repress), Bruno was hated when all he did was what others asked, and was even ridiculed for abandoning the family when he ran away, Julieta is forgotten she has a simple and straight forward power nothing flashy like the others she just works behind the scenes doing her own thing trying to keep everyone together and even as she tries so hard every day she has to see her mother ignore, belittle, and yell at her daughter, camilo is only seen as helpful when he is other people one can assume if the movie had a much longer portion when their powers were removed he would have to find own identity, dolores is hearing everything even things she doesnt want to and the world is simply to loud for her, Luisa is constantly worked like a donkey doing things that others could have done on their own with a bit of creativity or not try cause its not fesable (like moving an fn church ?????), Isabella was forced into a box and wishes for happyness but she's the golden child so she cant have flaws, anyone focusing on perfection that much would almost be neurotic with all the rules and preformances needed daily, meriabel is the scape goat "everything is wrong because Merible touched it" and even when she tries to do the smallest gestures to participate in the family she is ridiculed, and Abuela is in a constant state of forced stress she hasnt been able to finish greiving cause she had to shift focus to the town and villagers and dove head first into serving the community eventually forcing her children into that life when all she needed was time to greive, and Agustín is a protective cover for Maribel and back up for Julieta and Felix is with the love of his life yes but also as to master emotional de escalation tecniques so that if pepa's emotions do start becoming too strong he can talk her out of it even teaching Camilio how
@@Strawberrykoal true she was really the only one who's power is obviously a disability, but then so is pepa's and Luisa's pepa's causes her to have emotional regulation issues due to her repression and Luisa's identity is so intwined with her work that she has sevear anxiety and self doubt like through the entire movie, and Dolores hating her powers is not really canon in the movie simply because her troubles and worries arent focused on we dont know if she hated her powers all we know is she has sensory issues because of it based on how she acts in the background, she could be just like pepa or luisa, so brainwashed with the "for the good of the village" mentality that they dont see the external factors or their powers being the source of their pain, that their pain is a personal failing, they wernt strong enough, they couldnt keep in control, they couldnt withstand the noise.
Everyone’s talking about OR3O getting Dolores’s actual voice actor but nobody’s talking about how they nailed Luisa’s voice. (Isabella’s voice is actually good to)
Honestly, I sympathize with Doleres’s inability to tell the man she loves how she feels because of demanding forces (Alma). To hear this song with the actual voice actress is a fantastic feat and shows how things work for those who work hard and diligently on their projects. Even though you don’t need my approval, you can have it if you want.
I dont think that was what happened. Nobody knew delores liked Mariano but except in the "we don't talk about bruno song" but from delores perspective it's not about the inability to tell a man she loves him. Its about not wanting to step on anyones toes. At the end she has no problem telling him. But only because she knows Isabella didnt want to marry him. Girl code kinda thing.
The fact that there are singers singing in the background during the chorus while Dolores is singing is awesome because it's her POV and we get to hear EVERYTHING
The fact they got Adassa (Dolores voice actor in Encanto) in this is unbelievable Also cg5 is perfect for camilo Just finished watching and HOLYYYY, THAT WAS AMAZZING, EVERYONE DID SO WELL, Congrats to everyone who took part in this project, you all did GREAT Also Luisa’s voice was pretty accurate Also, WE NEED DISNEY TO REACT TO THIS
I mean… kinda but naw… Or30 really wanted EVERY voice actor in this but she only got one and had to replace Camilo’s character with CG5 instead but… ay we got Charlie so I’m not upset tbh Camilo REALLY works for him if I’m being honest
I honestly feel bad for her as she'll obviously feel relief but then fear as it isn't something she's used to and it'll just give her a lot of problems in the end
I love how unlike in "We Don't Talk About Bruno" where in the together part, each character has their unique rhythm that works well and is recognisable, in this one all the voices only blend together horribly. Really has a good feel to it
Funny thing is that this song is actually like super loud. This at quarter volume is around the same as literally any other song at half volume for me.
This fan song is so Enchantingly Marvelous AND the voice actor for Dolores IS ALSO IN THIS FAN SONG? this might as well be an official Encanto song. also this song is definitely gonna get Millions and MILLIONS of views.
From what the video says something tells me that based on the movie related project it might be some of the most thoughtful work she's ever done in her career.
For me her Clover album was her most thoughful work/s The details in the bgm, the lyrics, and the animations (of course with the help of a crew as well)
The singing in the background of the chorus really gave the song the extra piece that made it really sound like it came from Encanto. Lin likes to add overlapping verses in his songs (like We Don’t Talk about Bruno and Satisfied from Hamilton), not to mention the raps for Dolores, the notes for the chorus really fit with her voice, and the whole feel and rhythm of the song fits the feel of Encanto but isn’t so similar that it sounds like a copy of the soundtrack (sorry, I don’t know any technical terms for music). Long story short, this song is a mazing and I’m adding it to my playlist and sharing it to all my friends *now* .
I just imagine in the ceremony when Dolores starts hearing everything and slowly cries cause it hurts, and then Abuela is just panicking a bit while trying to hide her
Imagine how she felt when she lost her powers. Did she feel relieved when everything around her became quiet or did she instead find it disturbing and unnerving? Did she have a sense of dread like you get when all the loud noises in a forest suddenly vanish as danger looms? Kinda reminds me of another character. A mind-reader by the name of moonwatcher from WoF. She usually is able to hear everyones thoughts as she actively hears them and is unable to turn off her power. But when she holds a special stone that blocks her telepathic powers, she finds herself terrified. She had thought it would be a relief, but instead the feeling of not being able to hear anyone scared her.
Love the connection between Dolores from Encanto and Moonwatcher from Wings of Fire! I never thought about that until I read your comment! I guess that it makes sense their both my favorite characters! They are so similar! Maybe if WoF does make a show/movie Adassa will be Moons voice actor sense they are so similar 🤔 who knows 🤷♂️
Honestly this song makes me realize how much potential musically this movie had, when a sequel is made (cmon it’s Disney they’re gonna make one) they need to focus on Dolores
I want a series and a sequel, but if I have to choose one, a series (with its own new music of course) is my preference. One good thing about loving something so incredibly popular is that there's hope when Disney sees those dollar signs.
You know, considering that Dolores is the only one whose gift is actively a hindrance to them, it's surprising that she didn't get a song like this in the movie!
@@wakanakamulan2152 And Bruno! Imagine the things he’s seen in the visions! He probably knows when and how everyone in the family dies, including himself. He’s probably seen things like future wars, plagues, natural disasters and other horrible things. He may even know when and how the world ends!
This song definitely offers a new perspective on Dolores' power. Sure she has extremely heightened hearing, but can she truly control it along with the volume that she's hearing it from? Think about it, not even whispers go unnoticed thanks to her hearing, and she could hear tons of things day and night. This is basically a case if the gift is a blessing that needs tuning, or a curse in disguise.
but the thing is the gift depends on the personality of the person so maybe dolores's power is based on her personality- REMEMBER THIS IS JUST MY OPINION!!!!
Just realized that when Dolores starts singing u can barely hear Adassa sing (dolores' voice actress) because of all the loudness of all the music, this just means that this is what Dolores feels whenever she talks and that the music represents everything she always hear (note that there are noises and sounds of actual people talking in the background of the music)
Encanto Spoilers: For anyone who is confused, Dolores never liked her gift and was happy when it disappeared. Also, on the door at the end of the movie, everyone is happy except for Dolores, who is sad on the door.
I know I'm dreaming way too much but that's a very good opportunity for an Encanto 2 where we either follow Dolores as the main character or she becomes an unfortunate antagonist such as Elsa in Frozen, and this song could be part of this sequel
This is epic. I was thinking the woman singing as dolores sounds just like her voice actor, now I know it’s actually her. I was shocked. You guys did good. 👏
I'm a writer and if I could put this song anywhere in the movie it would be Mirabel actually leaving after Bruno said to. You cut to Dolores singing this song throughout the house with cuts to various other family members and ending with her in her (soundproof) room with hands over her ears in defeat as she can't help but not listen to her families problems. Then cut back to Mirabel asking Bruno to have another vision.
@@WannabeWryter I would actually put it before Mirabel finds Bruno after all the incidents at the dinner. For the Bruno part you can just make it so you can hear him but not really see him!
@@Pet-mb9pr That would work, because the song is clealry taking place after the dinner., but since Bruno's part of it I firgured, "wait he'd have to atleast appear once in the house for it to work" but it not being clear where he but still seeing him works to.
@@AniMae I also like the idea that it's a little less sensory overload and more like "I can't just tune out yhe sounds of all of my family's problems but I can't solve any of them either so I'm just listening to them suffering"
I always found interesting how the "gifts" are more of a curse, for someone: Dolores always hearing everything, her head burning from all the thougts; Luisa being so strong she always must pay attention to not hurting those who get near; Camilo shapeshifting so many times, he may be afraid of forgetting who he really is, not to mention the fact he has to be strong enough to not use his gift for evil purposes; Pepa is a walking force of nature, losing her temper might actually hurt someone badly, maybe even damage the town in a serious way, and she can't escape the effects of her emotions. If you focus enough, Encanto has many dark twists...
Isabela is always forced to be perfect, because of how beautiful her flowers are. Julieta, may be feeling like she has to heal everyone everyday like it's a chore, always relied on to heal injuries. basically everything is busted
@@Thomas_H._Smith well imagine if Antonio have a strong relationship / see the animal same as he see a human. But considering most animal dont live long like humans. Kinda devastating...

Right? People make fun of the noise cancelling headphones stereotype but I hardly ever leave home without them. Everything's just. So loud. I got other senses like that too, don't get me started on smells or getting motion sickness for the elevator.
My fellow autistic brothers and sisters can HEAVILY relate to Delores. We have sensitive hearing that we can't control, so in a way, autistic people are the real Delores.
yeah ! A lot of ppl can relate to her, I mean... I do not only because of audio sensitivity but d.i.d (disorder) too, hearing voices constantly is exhausting
As someone who’s favorite character is Dolores, I really appreciate you making this song. She seriously deserves her own official song. Plus, you got her ACTUAL VOICE ACTOR! This is amazing!!!
Seven foot rats, rats along his rats, when he calls your rats it all fades to rats yeah he sees your rats and feasts on yo rats, We don’t talk about rats no no no no
I love how the music is upbeat, while Dolores has sensitive ears, and everything is overlapping. But I am so addicted to this song. I am so happy Adassa offered to do it! Her voice is so beautiful and smooth!
I like the really subtle details in this, like: - Dolores is the only silhouette that isn't speaking (doesn't have a visible mouth) - Abuela and Mirabel are right after each other, emphasizing the "two sides of the same coin" and Dolores can understand them both - In the final verse Dolores is covering her ears - Just like Bruno says, "he's always just barely there," and even in Dolores' hearing he's the bottom priority (he even gets the least screen time in the song) - Edit: also noticed that it would make sense that all the characters are silhouettes, since Dolores only hears them, not seeing them
Regarding your last point. "If you have a brain, you'd know that silhouettes are 2D and Dolores is facing us, so of course we can't see her mouth." How'd you explain Abuela and Mirabel's mouths being visible then? They're both clearly facing us too. 00:30-00:42
yo wait….”there are secrets I won’t tell unless they break the spell” the spell symbolizes her “gift” she sees as a curse of hearing everything. So when she tells everyone about Bruno’s prophecy, she knows it may just mean the magic will go away. So she’ll be freed from her curse thus breaking the spell. ⭐️🐸
Y'all be talking about how Dolores is sung by her actual voice actress, but I haven't seen anyone talking about how Luisa's voice was really accurate ngl--
I've always imagined her getting her guft when she was young, and at first being so excited, but then the excitement slowly turns into sadness, as days go pass. I've also imagined her saying to Mirbel "You think its so bad to not have a gift? Do you really things its a "gift" to hear everything!?" Edit: Bro, I don't even remember writing this....how did it get 117 likes 😭😭😭.
This song really gives the audience an insight into Dolores' character, as most of the time she was just dismissed as the girl who knows practically everything. Having her vent through a song was awesome, excellent work Adassa!
@@StarryV3nus oh, I didn't see her as a villain with this song :o ........ not sure how to explain..... how good are you at keeping secrets? Also, has anyone asked you to keep a secret before? It's a thought I had when I saw Dolores. Then again, idk. have a good one.
Considering they are the same age as isabela, her being dismissed must have started when isabela was starting to be the favorite grand child of alma. Alma must have given dolores little appreciation and validation and value than isabela, the golden child of the madrigals. Isabela unintentionally outshined her and over shadowed her to the point where she is being set as a background character by everyone.
I think the reason we never saw much of Dolores in the movie like the pressure or pain she could be dealing with is because the creators wouldn’t know how to fix that problem, it’s not like Luisa’s pressure to were she could take a break or relax, her hearing isn’t something you can get rid of unless you have the candle blow out or something. Btw, incredible song!! I loved the vocals so so much!!!
This is my favourite song. I also have sensitive hearing and resonated so much with the small details of Dolores within the movie. I've listened to this more than I can count.

@@DetectiveDorian but like u can just contact someone popular like that and expect them to respond? I mean she must be busy and all so idk anyway that is really cool
I feel like if it were to be placed in the movie, it would fit right after the failed engagement and during when Mirabele finds Bruno. This fits in wonderfully, but we don't see it because the focus is on Bruno and Mirabele.
I think the song is alluding to the idea that Dolores was in so much pain from her gift that she not only purposefully told camilo at dinner but then shouted it out at the worst moment so that she could make sure Mirabel destroys the magic. I personally feel the song takes place before dinner as Dolores is ramping herself up to reveal the prophecy at dinner.
NO WAY YOU GOT ADASSA TO SING THIS! WHAT?! OR30 YOU ARE AN AMAZING MUSIC ARTIST AND FOR YOU TO GET THIS FAR IS AMAZING, THIS IS INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL!!!
The worst part of feeling overstimulated by having sensitive hearing is that I don't *want* to lose my hearing. Its a gift, its part of me, and I am proud of it. But man its really stressful when your having a tough moment and need some quiet but you can still hear/feel everyone moving around in the house, all at once.
Probably when they finally lost their gifts, Dolores at first was happy about not hearing everything anymore, but then she became scared cause since she was not hearing everything anymore, it probably felt like if she became deaf

That’s because Dolores isn’t the main character. The movie is about Mirabel and Abuela Alma. Every character has a purpose in the story and Dolores has her role as a side character. She doesn’t need character development when the story is not about her.

Okay, here me out! I'm no Disney Animator (hopefully someday😆)but I would really LOVE to make the 2D animation for this song. It's so beautiful!✨💖😭
@@WannabeWryter This is soooo good!😬💖✨
@@WannabeWryter I would actually put it before Mirabel finds Bruno after all the incidents at the dinner.

IT FINALLY HAPPENED! Dolores got the song that she deserves! And as someone who suffers from audio sensitivity… good god, is this song relatable.

I like the really subtle details in this, like:
- Dolores is the only silhouette that isn't speaking (doesn't have a visible mouth)
- Abuela and Mirabel are right after each other, emphasizing the "two sides of the same coin" and Dolores can understand them both
- In the final verse Dolores is covering her ears
- Just like Bruno says, "he's always just barely there," and even in Dolores' hearing he's the bottom priority (he even gets the least screen time in the song)
- Edit: also noticed that it would make sense that all the characters are silhouettes, since Dolores only hears them, not seeing them
I never even thought of that!Thats really cool!
Bruno gets the least screen time since when?
Also, if you have a brain, you’d know that silhouettes are 2d, and Dolores is facing us, of course you can’t see her mouth.
Regarding your last point.
"If you have a brain, you'd know that silhouettes are 2D and Dolores is facing us, so of course we can't see her mouth."
How'd you explain Abuela and Mirabel's mouths being visible then? They're both clearly facing us too.

yo wait….”there are secrets I won’t tell unless they break the spell” the spell symbolizes her “gift” she sees as a curse of hearing everything. @@StarryV3nus it’s not really villainess she’s just tired of her quirk oop I mean gift-
Considering they are the same age as isabela, her being dismissed must have started when isabela was starting to be the favorite grand child of alma.
Imagine if they put this after “We don’t talk about Bruno” after the dinner scene, the emotions in this are raw for an excellent song.
That would spoil too much before their big moment
I feel like if it were to be placed in the movie, it would fit right after the failed engagement and during when Mirabele finds Bruno.
This fits in wonderfully, but we don't see it because the focus is on Bruno and Mirabele.
I think the song is alluding to the idea that Dolores was in so much pain from her gift that she not only purposefully told camilo at dinner but then shouted it out at the worst moment so that she could make sure Mirabel destroys the magic.
I personally feel the song takes place before dinner as Dolores is ramping herself up to reveal the prophecy at dinner.

Lyrics: So, did you hear about the other day?
They say, "The family is in dismay"
I heard that everything was not okay
The house might even fall and then decay
[Verse 2: Cami-Cat & OR3O]
What do I do about this future sight?
Don't want to give the people any fright
Need to find Bruno just to make things right
Unless we wanna fall by candle light
[Chorus: Adassa]
Through doors and through the cracks
I always listen, but never act
And though I wish that I could just turn it back
The rumors speeding through a narrow track
Everything is way too loud
The roar of whispers in every crowd
I'm sick of all the noise right now
Oh, can someone, please, just turn it down?
[Verse 3: Adassa & OR3O]
Candle, won't you just keep burning bright?
The prophecy won't be our demise (Turn it down)
Clear blue skies, no rain, just shine
If we stick together, we'll be alright (Oh)
I can hear your fear
I can make 'em disappear (Turn it down)
There are secrets I won't tell
Not unless they break the spell
[Verse 4: CG5]
And you could hear it through the Casa's halls
A crack and scurry coming from the walls
So can we answer to the future's call
Or will we end up losing it all?
[Verse 5: Kathy-chan & Cami-Cat]
Why couldn't she just shut her mouth tonight?
She ruined everything just out of spite
Oh no, my power's fading by the day
The pressure's sinking in, I can't run away
[Chorus: Adassa]
Through doors and through the cracks
I always listen, but never act
And though I wish that I could just turn it back
The rumors speeding through a narrow track
Everything is way too loud
The roar of whispers in every crowd
I'm sick of all the noise right now
Oh, can someone, please, just turn it down?
[Bridge: Upgraded Moon & Adassa]
Feeling like I'm always just barely there
Only a shadow and it's never fair
The volume's growing
Don't wanna know what's going on at all
Not anymore!
I'm at my final straw
My power's hardly a blessing at all
Heeding to everybody's call
Is there a line that I can draw?
Everything is way too loud
The roar of whispers in every crowd
I'm sick of all the noise right now
Oh, can someone, please, just turn it down Turn it down
