Loved watching this. A great horse and a great ride. The after race commentary was sad though. Lord Oaskey, Walter Swinburn and Big Mac all now on the great racecourse in the sky.
Yes cauthen had to go to the guns But yes the 3 guys no longer with top lads makes you appreciate life
Yea, and all also sadly blind as a bat with regard to their opinion on the photo , it was clear cut on the freeze frame

@@WESSERPARAQUAT I backed OSS and thought she had got up. I was gutted when Goode ruled her out of it. Happy ending though.

back in those days the race callers were all blind

That commentary by Goode was really poor.
Not his best but OSS did come very fast and very, very late. "A well timed run" as Cauthen put it in his understated way afterwards
It did look like the other two finished in front of her until seeing the photo
