I am currently in esthetician school and your explanation of using the galvanic machine for both désincrustation and iontophoresis treatments really makes so much more sense to me. I would like to buy a professional galvanic machine and I am looking at one like yours. I would also like to have a professional quality high frequency machine. I know your galvanic machine also has high frequency, however, I believe the high frequency only uses one type of gas. Would you recommend having a high frequency machine with both argon and neon gases? If so, I think that means I will need to buy two separate machines. Thank you for any advice.

Hi Maria, firstly. Thanks very much for sharing this education with us. I have great interest in galvanic treatment. For me it is mainly for the lymphatic benefit. I have a very puffy eyes (also face but eyes are worse) I have a big eye bags since I was a child and it has big impact on my confidence throughout my life :( so far, only the galvanic facial treatment can depuff my face and eyes to the point that my eye bags goes away. My beauty treatment lady is retiring so I am SOOO worried. I have been trying to get the same machine she use and do it on my own but I can’t as the manufacturer only sell the machine to beauty salons but not Individuals like myself. The machine my esthetician uses is the Guinot Hydradermie lift. If you would help me with these questions, that would be great!!! 1) do you know any galvanic machine out there that I can get that can do the same depuffing to my eyes and face? 2) do you think galvanic treatment can give such a great depuffing benefit? If so, which mode is it? Thank you so much in advance!
You are very welcome! As you can see all three tutorials explains about the benefits and the contraindications. One of the tutorials is galvanic in general one is with the iontophoresis which that is for product penetration and the next one is on disincrustation , which is for the notification of fat or sebum. The machine or the device it’s not for lymph drainage. What you can do is use a vacuum machine or cupping. I have a tutorial on cupping, which is very good for lymph drainage. Hello Maria, Just wondering about the infusing part. if we cannot use serums during the galvanic procedure, does the serums infuse after the treatment. As when I trained we were able to use serum or gels. please help me understand, I am just getting back into using the machine and my notes are saying I can use gel or serums.
Hello there, welcome back to the industry :-) when you use galvanic current, you need to have water base or gel products only, and the machine must be used before you use any oil based products otherwise it does not work. So you can do your iontophoresis first and then if you wish to use a Serum you can do after the application of the device. I hope this answers your question. I don’t know if this sounds weird but I was going to get the galvanic machine to do it on myself. I found two products I would like to use for this step not sure if they are the correct items. Zemits InstaRevival Deep Hydrating Conductive Gel and the second one is Jellen® Peptide Power Conductive Facial Gel™ I would love your input❤❤❤
This machine is really good, however, I do not know much about these two products that you sent me, however, if there are in gel form, it will work. Let me know how things go.

I have watched all 3 videos and In the first video you mention there are 2 stages to iontophoresis -I didn't hear you mention the 2 stages in the above video? Only that you use the positive pole? Could you please clarify when Anaphoresis & Cataphoresis comes into the procedure, and then different between anaphoresis and desincrustation?

Understand the machine but I do have a question about what product you put on the cotton round for the small tool. Your next comment is about using only a gel/ the product that came with the unit, so I was confused.
I having montophoresis done on me for jaw pain from tmj tmj specialist want me do physical therapy for it see if it fix anything before they decide go about doing reconstruction of my jaw fix overbite uneven jaw.i never had my jaw broken .by I told specialist at orofacial because of discomfort I had change how I eat my food which eating in small tiny bite eat soft foods .I think I have have jaw operation done maybe it fix things

Hi, your tutorials are so amazing. I just have a question for the desincrustation, the probe is different but is still in positive black wire same as the intophoresis which is used for infusion. My question is, can I use the roller for desincrustation and use water and baking soda on face? When you do intophoresis you need to have a gel or water base Specifically for the machine. When you do iontophoresis, the Clients hold the negative pole and you the aesthetician uses the positive pole on the skin

Yes you can use galvanic with Vit c You can also temporary use baking soda with lemon and that will lighten your pigmentation, but be very careful to leave it on only for two minutes. I don’t have any tutorials on sonophoresis…Do you have this device? As the words says Sono stands for sound - and phones is means penetrating the skin through and broken skin - sonophoresis for dermal delivery of drugs. The ultrasound, an efficient physical enhancer, has been applied and studied in sonophoresis for the delivery of therapeutic purposes through dermis. I hope this answers your question.

However there is one application in the machine where you have a parameter called “ polarity “ . This parameter you can choose between three positions: positive, negative and Pos/Neg together This application used with the same hand piece of sonophorses. My question is how can I know the polarity of each cosmetics product as it’s not always written on the label? Have you tried this type of machines before? Hi Maria, thank you for all your very helpful videos. However, I have a question: I still do not yet understand when exactly to use iontophoresis. I understand that I use catophoresis after desincrustation and extractions to close the pores, reduce circulation, calm nerve endings on oily skin Am I correct? But what about Anaphoresis? This is negative, so is it an alternative to Desincrustation? .
During galvanic iontophoresis, hydrochloric acid is not produced. Instead, the process involves using a low-level electrical current to drive charged molecules, such as ions of various substances, into the skin for therapeutic purposes. The solutions used in iontophoresis typically contain ions of drugs or other therapeutic agents dissolved in water or another suitable solvent. These ions are then driven into the skin through the application of the electrical current, without the production of hydrochloric acid.

You need to have a machine that has positive and negative pads, and you put the negative pad right on the cellulite and the positive pad just beside it... Leave it for a least 20 minutes, however the pad must be covered with a sleeve sponge... I hope this answers your question. Maria

The students were given a handout about galvanic and high frequency but the steps are how to use each device not how they both are incorporated into one service. So I’m doing my own research to get a better understanding.

We just learned about this yesterday in class and my instructor put on a serum on oily skin And she used the galvanic current and infused the product into her skin. Is that wrong because you kept specifying don't use serums?
If the serum is ionizable then is fine but just to apply any kind of serum It will not work. I have another galvanic on disincruststion and one on theory of galvanic. Let me know if you have any further questions. Maria

Hello there, welcome back to the industry :-) when you use galvanic current, you need to have water base or gel products only, and the machine must be used before you use any oil based products otherwise it does not work. So you can do your iontophoresis first and then if you wish to use a Serum you can do after the application of the device. I hope this answers your question. I don’t know if this sounds weird but I was going to get the galvanic machine to do it on myself. I found two products I would like to use for this step not sure if they are the correct items. Zemits InstaRevival Deep Hydrating Conductive Gel and the second one is Jellen® Peptide Power Conductive Facial Gel™

Your videos are great. But I am still a little confused with how it works. I have watched all 3 videos and In the first video you mention there are 2 stages to iontophoresis -I didn't hear you mention the 2 stages in the above video? Only that you use the positive pole? Could you please clarify when Anaphoresis & Cataphoresis comes into the procedure, and then different between anaphoresis and desincrustation?

Understand the machine but I do have a question about what product you put on the cotton round for the small tool. Your next comment is about using only a gel/ the product that came with the unit, so I was confused.
wet the cotton with some water and salt or water and baking soda....that will help with conductivity.

Hi, your tutorials are so amazing. I just have a question for the desincrustation, the probe is different but is still in positive black wire same as the intophoresis which is used for infusion. My question is, can I use the roller for desincrustation and use water and baking soda on face? Can i use the same probe as long as the desincrustation is used with water and baking soda and the intophoresis is used with water based gel with ions? ThaNks in Advance!

It is essential that you use the negative pole on the client’s face and the client holds onto the positive. Also, the rollers are specifically for Iontophoresis.

Yes you can use galvanic with Vit c You can also temporary use baking soda with lemon and that will lighten your pigmentation, but be very careful to leave it on only for two minutes. I don’t have any tutorials on sonophoresis…Do you have this device? As the words says Sono stands for sound - and phones is means penetrating the skin through and broken skin - sonophoresis for dermal delivery of drugs. The ultrasound, an efficient physical enhancer, has been applied and studied in sonophoresis for the delivery of therapeutic purposes through dermis. I hope this answers your question.

However there is one application in the machine where you have a parameter called “ polarity “ . This parameter you can choose between three positions: positive, negative and Pos/Neg together
This application used with the same hand piece of sonophorses.
My question is how can I know the polarity of each cosmetics product as it’s not always written on the label?

I achieved good results all white heads popped out.

You need to have a machine that has positive and negative pads, and you put the negative pad right on the cellulite and the positive pad just beside it...
Leave it for a least 20 minutes, however the pad must be covered with a sleeve sponge...

The students were given a handout about galvanic and high frequency but the steps are how to use each device not how they both are incorporated into one service. So I’m doing my own research to get a better understanding.

We just learned about this yesterday in class and my instructor put on a serum on oily skin And she used the galvanic current and infused the product into her skin. Is that wrong because you kept specifying don't use serums?

Just a note.....my understanding is that you cannot add products to the gel unless they are charged and are compatible with the gel.
