    I would love an updated video about programming! The first one [that explained stability up to power] was incredibly helpful to understand when to use certain exercises.

    So excited to try your program on Boostcamp and definitely interested in an updated programming video!
    I was also struggling with barbell overhead presses and after a while, finally gave in and went down to the 'female' 15kg barbell. After many many months I have now worked my way up to the 20kg barbell with 1.25kg baby plates!
    For anyone who needs to hear it; you have every right to take up a squat rack with tiny weights 😊

    I love that you have a program on that ap! Love that they see how you put thought and structure that makes sense into your work outs .
    Also it makes me feel better when you remind us it's okay to not do a specific move if we do not love it. Like it isn't life or death if we just never do that move.

    The timing of this is IMPECCABLE - I literally almost submitted this as a question on your website - about whether your progressive workout programs included gym equipment options because I want to combine them. I'm super excited to try out this program on the app, as I really love your approach to keeping fitness simple. Doing one of your videos yesterday and being sore today was such a testament to the skill of your programming.
    After a big break after a torn meniscus, I've had a hard time finding my footing again with fitness, and I'm hopeful this will be an accessible way in for me. Thank you, I was honestly so down in the dumps about how to do it. I'm so happy I saw this video!!

    You're so informative, I had to force myself to take an extra rest day today. I did still walk a couple miles so I don't feel to quilty. But my question is how many weeks of lifting weights do you do before you take a deload week. I'm new to lifting, I been doing 5 days a week for 15 weeks now and I'm 52 years old. So yeah, when would you suggest taking a week off.?

    • @JustinaErcole
      @JustinaErcole  Год назад +1

      I don't program a deload week for most of my clients because I find they naturally happen. (Sickness, vacation, lack of motivation, etc.) But I'd say if you're super consistent, somewhere around the 8-12 week mark is a good place to add in a deload!

    "requests for … why I'm choosing things"
    Add me to that list! I enjoy a lot of your content, but I particularly benefit from the "why" videos.
    When I watch your (and others') videos like that, it really helps me put together what I have learned and imagine how I would apply it in different situations. (I'm a new trainer just getting started.)
    There is no perfect workout, or perfect split, or perfect excercise, or perfect diet (or perfect anything, really). The important thing is taking evidence-based pieces and applying them in a way that works for an individual.

    What makes you different than VSHRED. Although his method doesn’t match most people, you are no different other than this
    He is a blunt tell it like it is guy
    You are a millennial no accountability make excuses person.
    You are targeting those who look for someone to rationalize why the don’t have the desired results they are looking for
    Not that you are a bad person and probably feel like you are caring and inclusive. In reality most people take the easiest path of least resistance and what is more sensitive to their personality. Which is why most people are (let’s be 2023) not in the shape or look like people they look up to

    • @JustinaErcole
      @JustinaErcole  Год назад

      I am indeed a millennial, but I DO take accountability. That’s why I would never use the marketing tactics that VShred uses. But keep on defending a scam company Mike ✌🏻
