You just need a hood dryer. The longer your hair is wet, the more opportunity it has to shrink.
A hood dryer sets your product so the curls stay in place. You’ll still get some shrinkage, but no where near as much as air drying. Hood dryers and diffusers are indirect heat and won’t damage your hair.
Using a blow dryer without the diffuser is using direct heat and affect you hair after a while. Banding breaks your product cast and the style loses it’s longevity. To each her own.
Also, if you trim your hair into a shape, it really won’t matter how it shrinks because it’s already in shape.

I hate cantu products. I've tried so many but I just don't get on with them. I should've known this brand wasn't for me when they discontinued the only product my hair liked. That said, I still enjoyed the video. Informative, to the point and honest!! 💜
I love the honesty here! I’ve tried using gels similar to the consistency of that one and I’m always surprised that it doesn’t lead to more definition as they are so amazing for sleek styles, I was just assuming they’d really make curls pop! It’s defo a case of picking your products according to your hairstyle plans lool

I’ve never never never liked cantu products.
Try the curl cream + gel instead of the leave in + gel! I did like the way my hair felt after using that combo. I only got to try once though as I gifted the products after x

I see what you mean. For some that might be a good enough wash and go but you know you have had better. I saw the frizz at the top and your wash and gos usually are more immaculate. I’m the same about my hair. I use what many have used and hate it and people say they don’t see the issue but I’m like it looks different in person and I have had way better wash and gos. I always end up putting it in a puff 💯
yeahhh sometimes even if your hair looks good to others, you know how your hair can look and feel so when it's not quite right it has to go up haha

You need to avoid all heat if possible! This is the best/fastest way to get your hair back to health
I really didn’t like this range. I got it from my treasuretress subscription and I just think it’s much less moisturising than their original line. I don’t think there was much slip in the products and I had to use so much to get the results I wanted
I agree. I really enjoy the avocado range! But not so impressed with this one.
