The main differences are that the first sound is higher pitched on the R211, and with the R211, you can clearly hear steps in the acceleration, as if the train were shifting gears. The Siemens R160 makes a smoother rolling sound when it accelerates.
The propulsion of the two cars sound very similar, I always wondered how they would sound together. If only they were synced together a bit better in the video but great work anyways
