Literally the founding or colonization of the catachan jungle fighters (the rescue missions would somehow result in the rescue teams getting stranded and having to learn and survive while also defending and evading the enemy search patrols which is where they would get ammunition and other supplies and just more and more rescue missions would get sent out at the distress signal sent out and patrol squads get sent out from the enemy also getting a distress signal out before both communication systems got destroyed and the planet is so out of the way and/or insignificant/hostile to really care about and keeps getting forgotten about until both parties get another distress signal and "wash/rinse/repeat" that's my new head Canon now from the warhammer 40k "catachan jungle fighters")
