Been watching your videos for a couple of months now, finally putting my loft together tommorow ready for my first lot of young birds, I'm 28 and just getting started👍👍
Great video had birds from the age of 8 till 32 kids won’t to do things at the weekends and make it hard I’ll be back one day enjoying the sport really appreciate your effort trying to get people interested in the sport but it’s hard work and expensive now a days good luck
Great video, Dan. I really like that you are capturing the process of racing pigeons at the club and when they arrive. I wish that the technology was available to capture the times long ago when we put rubber race bands on at basketing. Love following your journey. Cheers mate.
congratulations the work you are putting into these videos must be incredible, but you are producing some fantastic videos to watch and hopefully you will indeed encourage people into the sport, thanks
I rescued a young racing pigeon yesterday who showed up at my place. Caught and called the band in. The owner was here in about 2 hours after finding him. Of course, the bands were owned by the breeder who was the first contact. Okay, now I am hooked because the breeder and the owner offered birds as a reward. Here I am enthralled in watching all of the videos. What is the best advice and loft ideas you can give?
Me too I've followed from the start n its a exelent journey from compleat novice to fed cards n topping fed some flyers never top fed exelent watch top flying
My good friend and i have Show Type Racing Homers. Did you ever think about buying some show type racing homers for your race team? Our birds are breed to get rid of the many flaws of the racing pigeon. They have longer keels, tight vents , stronger wings and backs, stronger necks, shorter legs, and a streamline head. A few years back, my friend sold a group of young show type racing homers to his friend who wanted to get into racing pigeons. My friend helped him to get the birds trained and believe it or not his first year racing he won 6 out of 7 races and third in the 7th. Just a thought to maybe help you build a dominant race team.
9th club and 9th federation shows what brilliant standard of club you're racing in. Well done on the result, brilliant achievement for that bird. I always liked racing hens at that distance I think they try harder to get back to the nest than the cock.
