We don't know anything about the monetization yet -- I think it's WAY too early to be this cynical about monetization! The game looks great imo.
overwatch 2 is a real cash grab here in a way they made the game f2p and skins are too expensive
Not to mention the game straight being pay to win a lot of the time, when the new heroes are meta and you have to buy the battle pass for them (which surprise surprise, happens alot)
If a game is free to play, then it’s a not cash grab
If you can access the full game without paying, it’s not a cash grab

Before it required several hours of gameplay to unlock a character, or pay to get it earlier
That doesn’t mean pay to win, the characters aren’t locked behind a paywall
