It's funny that seeing only one minute of this trail stirs me to get out there. Thank you!
It’s funny that seeing only one minute of this trail stirs me to not do this. Thank you!

Every time you upload a shorter version I still feel like welling up once you hit the end.
And yes, even the 1 min version did it for me. 😂
Same :D
Made me tear up. Absolutely captured every aspect of the trail: the beauty, the people, the scary, the suffering, and the breathtaking.
Thank you
This is the best PCT short I’ve ever seen. Thanks so much!!!
(PCT class of 2012)
That was so beautiful (and funny!) I don't understand how 1 minute gave me such deep feels. Well made and well walked :)
The PCT was a fantastic trail for me to follow your adventures
The "Spider and mosquito "......my favorite David Attenborough moment. 🤣
Watching your journey in real time inspired me to do 6 weeks on the Arizona Trail! Thanks, Dixie!
Loved this! Actually teared up a little. I looked forward to each episode when you did the PCT Dixie. I felt I was with you every step of the way. 🌿
I loved watching your PCT through hike. This makes me want to go hike it…almost.
The definitions of 'pain' and 'glory' all summed up in one minute.
I've revisited this amazing series she did a few times since it posted. Really a fun set of videos to watch. Makes me want to go back and watch again. I kinda want to revisit her cdt series again first though.
Your swim across Stubbifield was the boldest of all and most deserving illustrative in your 1 min video!
Beautiful short video! We are so lucky to live here. I'm in Oregon.
This looks so fun
Outstanding edit
I’m planning for summer 2023!!! Let’s go!!! 🥳🥳
I’m doing this trail in 2025. I am super excited to do it! ^^. Thank you Dixie for making me even more excited and motivated to keep up the planning.
Im gonna do it too in 2025 :) ❤
@@pierre-oliviersimard4763 heck yea! Maybe we’ll cross paths! Good luck planning and I’ll see you out there
Wish you the best. - I will start in 5 weeks.
I've done mount Whitney three different times. Twice from the lonepine side and once coming in of the PCT from onion valley on the other side of Forrester pass. I've also done the upper Paradise Valley of bubbs Creek in kings Canyon, that one we had to turn around because of the mosquitoes.
They were absolutely ridiculous. I know you've been through that so I'm sure you get the same thrill as I do to see that spider catch that mosquito. I was like, YES !!!
I cannot believe you fit that alllll in 60secs! Amazing job as usual, Dixie!!
This is CRAZY COOL my gf told me we need to go do this hike (been into EVERYTHING outdoors my whole life but gf just got into it) she said it was all types of weather but i didn’t know it was thattt I can’t wait
Wow that was a wicked video. Great videography. God Bless
Just my humble opinion, but I think your PCT trek was the best of any you have done. It was not just the hike but the videography, the narration the personal expose' on your trek and the beautiful scenery set this one apart in my opinion. Hope you are well and while I think the PCT was your best, I still enjoy your work.. Thanks very much.
Dixie, your videos are wonderful and a joy to watch, this one was particularly cinematic. Thank you for being honest, humble and showing what the journey is really like. Much love from NYC!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it
I love love love ❤️ this!
Watched it over and over!😂
Amazing pct in 1 minute, was very heartfelt ❤️
Fantastic! Live the Life, girl!
Very nice
Wow! Stunning.
I hope someday to do the Pacific Crest Trail thank you for such an inspiring video
I loved it! I watched the videos 'real time', and thought both "Wow! What an adventure!" and "Wow! I'm glad I don't have to watch this as her mama!" lol
AWESOME!
These make me so emotional and I’m not a very emotional person. It’s my dream, my ultimate heart’s desire, to explore and go to places like these and see the world for what it truly can be. Fernweh: the longing for a far off place. Farsickness.
Thats awesome.
Very cool
Thanks for the video
I’ll be doing this, amazing and the adventure of a life time, I can’t wait to do it.
Hi Dixie, watching you do the water crossings gave me the heebie jeebies, good to watch though! KYMW alot

Which triple crown trail would you do again?
Where does it start and where does it end?

Bravissimo

Wow
Yeah I’ll stick to European hiking 😂 🦂
Mmmm, I much prefererred the 2 minute version of this that had the music....
Envious
All those bugs. Its gonna be a no from me, dawg
I was really interested, but then I saw snakes and scorpions. F… no!
Hey! You skipped some!
The real question is do you think you could go on a journey like that alone with no support? That would be a real challenge. These people are crawling like they just didn't sleep and have a nice campfire tonight before having goodies shipped every drop site re-upping on food every two days. You know it's crazy
Resupply points on the PCT are generally 4-5 days apart. Even people who hike it “with no support” send food to themselves because you burn like 6,000 calories a day. It would be impossible to do the entire 2600 miles in one hiking season without resupplying. Also campfires usually aren’t allowed in many parts of the PCT
I hate nature
