Thank you so much for this video! Though 'Honey' was the first KARA song I have ever listened, 'Mister' and 'Wanna' were the songs who made me a fan of this group until the end. RIP Goo Hara. I wish all the best to the other members.
Even after all these years, Step is still one of my favorite Kpop songs. That generation was what got me into Kpop to begin with. Goo Hara and Kara will always have a place in my heart.
Yes. Mostly because they weren't around to witness how great those k-pop group of 1st and 2nd generations were. The current 3rd Gen continued it, spreading it worldwide.
Well i think every old kpoper should know that mnet hates sm so much so it doesn't let snsd win (no hate on kara) + gee won 14 times just in 2 music shows which is the most for only 2 shows

If wasn't for BoA those Kpop groups will still be underpaid in their own country.

Gyuri - Everyone wanted to be her. Seungyeon - Everyone wanted to date her. Nicole - Most successful Japanese soloist in KARA Hara - Resembling Namie Amuro. Ethereal beauty. Jiyoung - Most fluent Japanese speaker in KARA.
Every member in Kara speaks Japanese fluently but Jiyoung's Japanese is absolutely flawless. I speak Japanese myself and I gotta say that she sounds like a native when speaking Japanese.
Jiyoung had an agency in Japan and she was most successful in acting career in Japan. She now speaks most fluent Japanese, but when they debuted in Japan, Seungyeon and Gyuri talked mostly in talk shows in Japan.
2009-2010 was an amazing time for Kpop and Jpop. To be young and follow all these incredible idol groups and good music will truly be treasured memories forever. I suppose every generation has their music group but Kpop from 2007-2013 is hard to top in my opinion.
I still have a hard time believing that Harakuu isnt with us anymore.. she's been the most active member of Kara, popping out on your tv with the brightess smile and bubbly personality... well even if sometimes i do feel like her smile doesnt reach her eyes.. she still is the most cheerful member of the group..
I don’t understand how DSP Media is such an unknown company given that they had such big girl groups. Idk how they hurt their image this hard that April had absolutely no debut hype
@CLARA RABIH AL HALABI before there was 'big 3' there was only sm and dsp being the 2 biggest idol companies since the early 90's waaaaaay before yg and jyp was even an after thought....yg owed their earlier success to both seven and big bang while for jyp it was Rain(bi) and then wonder girls and finally 2pm...without these groups kick starting both companies popularity to become competitors against sm, where would they be now i wonder
Im a late Kamilla, I started stanning when they released Pandora but man did they have an impact on me. Step is one of my favorite songs in general and I couldn't watch this video without crying. Thank you for making it!
I just want to use this opportunity to not only remember Goo Hara but also Ahn Sojin who was a part of Kara Project. Both young people left this world too soon but they have hopefully found there peace.
Ah KARA is my favorite group ever! 2010 mv wanna, I would for real be a different person without this group I owe my whole life to them! I’m so sad not enough people know about them, thank you so much for showing more people about KARA!!! TWICEs popularity in japan wouldn’t be the same without them and also wouldn’t be as popular in America! I have been so crushed and horribly depressed recently because of hara’s death, but her (as well as the other members) made me who I am today and I am so grateful to them 💕
No one makes music like Kara, they are truly unique. I can't find any Kpop artist that does a similar kind of music to Kara's it's amazing. I miss these beautiful queens.
KARA should do a 2 night reunion show in memory of Goo Hara, with Seunghee,Youngji,Nicole,Jiyoung,Gyuri and Seungyeon with the 6 members performing their entire song catalog
@@adithyadanuwihardja7704 this reunion/15 year anniversary activities are my daydreams being manifested into reality, I can't believe it, it's amazong, KARA should do a fanmeeting at the Americana in Glendale (the city where Nicole was born)
It is so incredibly comforting watching this in 2022 having just seen the new Kara's comeback 'When I move'. They are all a little older but even more beautiful in my opinion.
The saddest thing is I got into kpop in 2016 and I started loving Kara later that year because my friend became a fan first. She got me into Kara through Mamma Mia but my absolute favorite Kara song will forever be Step. No one will ever change my mind. Rip to Go Hara and to all the members I wish the best❤️💐
Kara had their own flavor and nobody can replicate their concepts with the same energy like a cutesy or girl crush concept. I love how their choruses are so distinct and the harmonies!
I remember an ep of Star Golden Bell where idols were comparing dorm life. Kara talked about how sh*tty their dorm was, how they didn't even have enough chairs & how Nicole would wander the streets & bring home appliances she found that people threw out. After that I completely understand why they sued their company.
KARA has bought me so many good memories, they have really been one of those great groups thought out time no matter what happened 💕 Go Hara you will always be in my heart! 💗
Their story still continues........ in 2022 they announced their first comeback as an 5 member unit celebrating their 15th anniversary with their new song "When I move" and will present after 7 years in MAMA Awards 2022 with a medley of their best hits plus their new song. Talk about a great comeback!!!
Back when I was into Kpop Kara was one of my favorite girl groups. They were amazing and it’s great to see a dedication video to them. Goo Hara was one of my main biases I bought her album and was hoping to hear only good things about her after the group disbanded. RIP Hara. I hope the group along with the members hard work will continue to be remembered and loved.
I really can't put into words how much I love KARA. I became a fan when they came out with "Pretty Girl" and they only grew from there. They stayed consistent, talented and hardworking and their music was such a big part of my high school years like much of 2nd gen K-Pop. They honestly slayed in Japan and all the success is so deserved. They had bops for dayssss. Thank you so much for telling their story
Great video, kara was actually the group that got me into kpop. Also please do a video talking about what happened to Spica, they were a great group and no one gave them the credit they deserved.
I started with KARA and it led me through out the years to SNSD - WonderGirls - 2nE1 - f(x) - 4Minute - Miss A - APink - Girls Day - Sistar - AOA - GirlFriend - OMG - and now to TWICE - BlackPink - IZone - NiziU It's been a wonderful ride and continues to go forward. Thanks for starting it all KARA!!!! p.s. Big Nicole Fan!!!!💖😁
Kara are the greatest all round k pop girl group of all time imo.The songs, dancing, beauty, concepts are as close to perfect as possible, all 5 of them are flawless. It was brave to go on after Nicole and Jiyoung left,Mamma Mia was a great song but having watched some of the search for a new member show I thought they could have selected a better replacement and 2 new members would have been my choice. It wouldn't have made much difference overall in The Kara career as a whole but I was surprised by the choice they made. Its hard to believe we will never see the 5 girls ever again.Nicole and Jiyoung were my 2 faves, they are perfection and the other 3 are stunners also, great vid, thanks.
Kara was my all time favourite girl group. I knew all their songs and I learned all their dance choreo. They still live in my soul till this day. Honey was my first and favourite song. 😭❤ R.I.P Goo Hara
I am rewatching this 3 years after you posted and I still get so emotional. Hara was one of my favorite idols growing up and I remember losing her merely 7 days after I became a mother for the fist time. It was like I grew up one path and she went another which, sadly, took her away from us. I was really a Goo Hara super fan for years (supported all her solo activities including acting and singing) so it feels really great to see her being rememberd positively and not by all the damaging stuff people wrote about her at the end of her life. Kara and Goo Hara will forever live in our hearts. Thanks for remembering her.
I felt that Kara was the crown jewel of kpop back in the day, and still think no other group has been as impactful as them. Whenever they released a song, it was magical. This trip down memory lane brings a tear to my eye, both because of reminiscing over those good times of excitement when Kara released a new single, and also now because of Hara. This is a great tribute to all of them, thank you.
Started stanning Kara since Invincible Youth around 2010, love Hara ever since. Already a multi stan since '09. I really miss the variety shows back then, it helped me get to know groups. I was also dealing with sh when Hara's sh became public. I got so angry at myself not being able to help her. Love you Hara! Thanks for introducing me to legendary Kara
I got into kpop about 2 years after Kara's disbandment. Step was one of my very first favorite songs, and Hara really caught my attention. And with her stunning visuals, amazing stage presence, and angelic voice, she quickly became my bias. However it wasn't long before I found out not only about Kara's disbandment, but of Hara's passing. My world was completely turned upside down. I couldn't stop crying. But many years have passed and even though I am still extremely sad about what happened to Hara, I want to remember her for the amazing impact she not only left on my life, but others as well. I remember her for the joy she brought to so many people, and to her members. I remember her life as one to be celebrated. Rest in Peace Goo Hara. We all love and miss you. You will never be forgotten.
I sometimes wish I could rewind time and re-experience these memories all over again. I'll forever be a fan of these girls. From Kim Sunghee to my babygirl, Youngji.
What I love about their gg era is every girl group has their own distinct music. Like, if you want a *girly tune* , listen to *Girls Generation* . If you want *hip hop* , listen to *2ne1* . If you want *fun dance music* , you have *T-Ara* . Then of course, you have the *disco queens* , *KARA* . And also, the 3rd gen, *Rainbow, After School, so on* ! And the best part of their era, you can be a fan of all!! Now, most girl groups want to be like BP or Twice or RV 🤷♀️
I think these women are the strongest 2nd gen to comeback after all the history they’ve had. I wish them many more comebacks and successes before they retire on their own terms!
I loved them so much. They were underrated and unappreciated. So much so they spent three years in Japan with more success than South Korea. They would be in a loooot of variety shows and I wouldn't want to miss them. I am 32 yrs old now and my heart is broken with Go Hara's loss. Always pictured them growing older and successful maybe getting married or just traveling the world. Maybe branching out into solo careers. Underrated. 😭🖤
It's 2022 and their comeback is everything it should be: mature, powerful, modern yet a callback to og 2Gen music. And a friqqin BOP! Let the new generation know who they are! Love KARA
i was so happy throughout this video and this beautiful review of kara's legendary history... knowing i would cry in the end because of hara....and here i am crying. such a loss
I remember watching Kara's Step in Channel V where they have this Kpop Explosion segment when I was 5 and yes it was such a catchy song. Gyuri caught my attention cause she doesn't look like that typical Korean female idol beauty. Then at school my best friend also talk about Hara that's why when the news broke, I immediately thought of my best friend 😭
3:08 I think this a topic of confusion for a lot of people, Hara and Seungyeon were definitely the most popular KARA members in Korea based on looks. The reason you see so much reference of Gyuri being the most beautiful KARA member is because on variety shows, Gyuri had this satirical comedic character where she would act very conceited and pretend to be the most beautiful idol to ever exist. Back in the day a lot of younger women in KPop/KDramas would be very negative and self-critical when talking about themselves, so Gyuri would humorously hype herself up and pretend to be a "goddess" which was her nickname. She actually got a lot of hate online because people were mad she was saying she was beautiful back in the day. I think she definitely changed the dynamic and allowed people to be more self-confident by being over the top, she was super popular on variety shows. Confidence and comedy trailblazer for idols.
Man U did such a good job on this Video. I love KARA and will always love them. They were so unique and I will listen to their music till I die. thanks for this Nathan
After watching this video I'm realised is aldy 10 yr I'm become kpop fan. At first I'm always sceptical when one members leave their group but after what happen to Jonghyun n Hara n Sulli I'm just hope every kpop idol be happy. They deserve it, well we deserve it. Rip Hara
I remember literally almost ten years ago, I was walking down in Shibuya & saw a poster of stunning girls on Tower Records. I Immediately bought the CD (without even listening to the sample sound) & became immediately hooked to Kara. That day was the start of my Kara fandom journey. Obsession with the group was an understatement to say the least. I guess by reading this comment, I don't even need to explain how I felt when I first heard about the news of Hara's passing. God bless Kara, God bless Hara & her family. Kara will always be in my heart.
They just did a 15yr annivery come back!!! they have not lost a beat! still queens as they are!! 6th plate set and the 6th mic.... tearing up!!! Kamilia for life!!
This video made me live in the past for a while to the point where i forgot that hara was no longer with us, seeing her smiles ,presence and youthfulness in this video was so immersing. The comment you made at the end of the video was a harsh harsh wakeup call ; a stab to the heart , and I'm crying now . Rest in peace sweet hara , you did your best . On a happier note, this video was great, thank you :) :) I became a kpop fan because of kara when i was 10 and now I'm 20, and watching this brought back all the happy memories
KARA stole my heart in 2009!😢 KARA still the best girl group to pass through kpop history imo. Kamilia know what's up. To the ones who aren't familiar with KARA, multiple this video by x10 then you might get the impact KARA has made in kpop.
Hope you all enjoyed this video dedicated to KARA's legacy and Hara's honor. Thank you. What was your first KARA song?
Thank you so much for this video! Though 'Honey' was the first KARA song I have ever listened, 'Mister' and 'Wanna' were the songs who made me a fan of this group until the end. RIP Goo Hara. I wish all the best to the other members.

Every member in Kara speaks Japanese fluently but Jiyoung's Japanese is absolutely flawless. I speak Japanese myself and I gotta say that she sounds like a native when speaking Japanese.
Seungyeon- that and had a great acting debut winning a award for her role in Age of youth season 1
Jiyoung had an agency in Japan and she was most successful in acting career in Japan. She now speaks most fluent Japanese, but when they debuted in Japan, Seungyeon and Gyuri talked mostly in talk shows in Japan.
Now our ethereal Hara is in heaven😑
Gyuri is Japanese 😄
R.I.P Goo Hara 😢
KARA Confirmed To Make Comeback For 15th Anniversary!!!!!!! WHO IS HERE AFTER THE NEWS TOO!
2009-2010 was an amazing time for Kpop and Jpop. To be young and follow all these incredible idol groups and good music will truly be treasured memories forever. I suppose every generation has their music group but Kpop from 2007-2013 is hard to top in my opinion.
Agreed. If it weren’t for these groups I wouldn’t be following these new groups.
They're not unknown, LOL. Before YG was a part of Big 3, it was DSP that was in their place.
Thank you, Nathan for making this!
KARA was and still is one of my favorite girl groups in K-Pop. My girls❤️ Goo Hara❤️
Kara was so good. Goo Hara will be missed she was so good on reality shows too
Im a late Kamilla, I started stanning when they released Pandora but man did they have an impact on me. Step is one of my favorite songs in general and I couldn't watch this video without crying. Thank you for making it!
Got teary eye at the end. She will truly be missed.
I just want to use this opportunity to not only remember Goo Hara but also Ahn Sojin who was a part of Kara Project.
Both young people left this world too soon but they have hopefully found there peace.
She committed suicide in 2015. Allegedly due to a battle with depression.
Yes Ann Sojin 😢
And finally Hara 😢,
Ah KARA is my favorite group ever!
I startes ugly crying when you said with members who are not here anymore ... we love you Hara ❤
When you said "and for those who are no longer with us" I started crying . Goo Hara was truly an angel
KARA should do a 2 night reunion show in memory of Goo Hara,
with Seunghee,Youngji,Nicole,Jiyoung,Gyuri and Seungyeon
with the 6 members performing their entire song catalog
YES YES YES
Well. Go stream the entire Move Again album then!!
@@adithyadanuwihardja7704 this reunion/15 year anniversary activities are my daydreams being manifested into reality, I can't believe it, it's amazong, KARA should do a fanmeeting at the Americana in Glendale (the city where Nicole was born)
Still inspirational KARA is back - Nathan you need to update this - SOON
It is so incredibly comforting watching this in 2022 having just seen the new Kara's comeback 'When I move'. They are all a little older but even more beautiful in my opinion.
“those who are... no longer with us”
Me: *UNCONTROLLABLE UGLY CRYING*
The saddest thing is I got into kpop in 2016 and I started loving Kara later that year because my friend became a fan first. She got me into Kara through Mamma Mia but my absolute favorite Kara song will forever be Step. No one will ever change my mind. Rip to Go Hara and to all the members I wish the best❤️💐
And now they are back. Best surprise this year...
R.I.P Goo Hara 😢
You're gone but your legacy and memories are not
i'm shocked, i didn't know Kara was that THAT BIG!!
Most of the legendary groups started as an average group but after year or two they dominated. Bigbang, Kara, 4minute and many more
Kara had their own flavor and nobody can replicate their concepts with the same energy like a cutesy or girl crush concept.
KARA has bought me so many good memories, they have really been one of those great groups thought out time no matter what happened 💕
Go Hara you will always be in my heart! 💗
Their story still continues........ in 2022 they announced their first comeback as an 5 member unit celebrating their 15th anniversary with their new song "When I move" and will present after 7 years in MAMA Awards 2022 with a medley of their best hits plus their new song. Talk about a great comeback!!!
Ok I haven't finished the vid yet but are we not gonna talk about how they BEAT GEE??? 😮
Its fine gee already win for 9 weeks straight and 9 trophies.
Bestie you need to update cuz Kara is BACK
Back when I was into Kpop Kara was one of my favorite girl groups. They were amazing and it’s great to see a dedication video to them. Goo Hara was one of my main biases I bought her album and was hoping to hear only good things about her after the group disbanded. RIP Hara. I hope the group along with the members hard work will continue to be remembered and loved.
This makes me sad...
It's not the video.... Just still healing...
I hope you can do another KARA video for their 15th anniversary now that they have returned to the KPOP scene after 7 yrs
Need an updated video!!!!! WE GOT A COMEBACK
Does anyone here still remember the goddess Gyuri era? That was hilarious lol.
Great video, kara was actually the group that got me into kpop. Also please do a video talking about what happened to Spica, they were a great group and no one gave them the credit they deserved.
I am here after KARA comeback in 2022 MAMA.
Thank you for this. This was a heartfelt video.
You are a good youtuber.
They are back!
I started with KARA and it led me through out the years to SNSD - WonderGirls - 2nE1 - f(x) - 4Minute - Miss A - APink - Girls Day - Sistar - AOA - GirlFriend - OMG - and now to TWICE - BlackPink - IZone - NiziU
It's been a wonderful ride and continues to go forward. Thanks for starting it all KARA!!!!
p.s. Big Nicole Fan!!!!💖😁
KARA IS COMING BACK FOR US KAMILIAS!!! 😭. #15THANNIVERSARYALBUM. COMEBACK DATE IS NOVEMBER 29.
Shaun Mantell I completely agree. Each member stood out unique in their own way. Nicole during Mister and Lupin especially slayed me.
My days with kara were the happiest days of my life
forever kamilia
Here after new comeback.
Everything is possible.
Plus thanks I didn't know that how their. Members changed through time
Kara was my all time favourite girl group.
Nathan: "I think companies should listen more to the fans these days"
Aghases: tell that to jyp
What happened to T-ara pls!
Those golden days when KARA was out with Bop after bop with every comeback! Miss those times 😭
And now they're back! 😭
I'm back here because they are back with 5 members!!
Goo Hara's beauty, and all her hard work in variety shows got me into Kara. RIP. Thanks for dedicating this video for her.
KARA QUEENS ARE BACK!!!
Love KARA
i was so happy throughout this video and this beautiful review of kara's legendary history... knowing i would cry in the end because of hara....and here i am crying. such a loss
RIP Goo Hara. She didn't deserve everything that happened to her
I remember watching Kara's Step in Channel V where they have this Kpop Explosion segment when I was 5 and yes it was such a catchy song.
Rip Hara
AND NOW. THEY HAVE A COMEBACK SONG in 2022 :'D viva kamilia
Thank you Nathan
kara is making a comeback tomorrow i hope everyone checks it out
Gee & Honey was just at 2 points difference just so close 😂😂😂
The battle was so close 😍😍😍
I remember literally almost ten years ago, I was walking down in Shibuya & saw a poster of stunning girls on Tower Records. I Immediately bought the CD (without even listening to the sample sound) & became immediately hooked to Kara. That day was the start of my Kara fandom journey. Obsession with the group was an understatement to say the least. I guess by reading this comment, I don't even need to explain how I felt when I first heard about the news of Hara's passing. God bless Kara, God bless Hara & her family. Kara will always be in my heart.
Thank you for making this amazing video of KARA.
On a happier note, this video was great, thank you :) :)
I became a kpop fan because of kara when i was 10 and now I'm 20, and watching this brought back all the happy memories
I am a ex-kpop fans. Now i'm 34. Kara was my favorite girl group then. And hara was my fav member in kara. Then and now, kara always be in my heart
I cried at the last part about Hara. It's just so unbelievable. She was my fave in KARA...
KARA stole my heart in 2009!😢
KARA still the best girl group to pass through kpop history imo. Kamilia know what's up. To the ones who aren't familiar with KARA, multiple this video by x10 then you might get the impact KARA has made in kpop.
What happened? They’ve made a smashing comeback in November 2022! Mister was my introduction to KARA.
