Can i just say thank you. I've been trying to learn about wines recently and these videos have been incredibly valuable. I have no idea why you don't get more views. Because of you I'm already planning trips around tuscany to taste sangiovese!
Best video ever ! Languedoc is the most underrated wine region of France , with a lot of real producers that are hands on and a lot of cooperative farmers that make great whites ! It’s a place that you can easily fall in love ! And you capture it all ! I am in standing ovation ! Cheers from Brazil !
Great video. It brings me nice memories of Languedoc. As i said in a previous comment my famalie had a big house in a small village called Cornus. In the mountains. Quite close to Roquefort. The original one with the famous cheese. Such a beautifull place. And the food and wine is spectacular. Unfortunately they had to sell the house. But for 14 years in a row we went there every summer.
I really love the amount of effort you put into these videos and they provide a perfect preview to individual producers and the wine region... I also noticed that this trip was done over 10 months ago. You must be very busy and I can’t wait for the other videos in the making!
@@drmatthewhorkey I liked the fact that you are showing a diversity of products offered by this region, most people here pretty much only think of Bordeaux and Burgundy when French wine is mentioned. It’s even rare to find someone who likes wines from N and S. Rhone or Loire Valley. Southern French wines are usually found only in super markets such as Carrefour. Mas De Daumas is sold here at a wine shop and after watching your video I am definitely going to try a bottle, which vintage would you recommend ? They have 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2020.
Wow, I am jealous!!! What a journey! You show all the beautiful landscape, le terroir, les saucisses et la fromage, I want immediately join with a glass of wine! My mother is born in the Auvergne and I know France pretty well, but I never was at Languedoc. Really nice place, a little bit like Provence but without tourists ;-)
Thanks so much, It makes me happy when people really appreciate all the work that goes in the editing and producing these videos. I hope to get even better
I will pass most of the food because allergy to shellfish! But I really enjoy videos…you have so much energy and it’s always fun to watch you and learn from your videos!
I've yet to try a wine from Languedoc that I haven't liked. A relative sleeper of a region in France. Hate to nit-pick here, but it's pronounced "longduck."

Saperavi and Tavkveri in that blend? holy smokes! incredible
It’s still a mostly Cabernet-based wine ~ 70%
Such great souvenirs ! It was a pleasure to open these dooos for you and share all that !🥂🍾 Nice road trip it was
Thanks for being so funny on video hahaha 😝
Brilliant! Just wonderful to see especially the Gassac reds and whites!
I figurd that you know them well!
You guys are doing a great introduction ! Love to know more wine from small production wine maker ...........
We all love small producers, it's always hard though because small production means they are not readily available.

I like them with age!! Just had 2020 which is lovely too
I live in New York and I would totally go to the Languedoc for 2 or 3 days. :) Too bad there are no direct flights.
Yes they gotta fix that. It would be great is there was a direct one to Montpellier…
Love your videos and the vibe between you and Fabien! I'm thirsty now! Cheers from Switzerland.
Thank you! I have one more video with Fabien coming out this month! It's a little closer to your home too hhehehe. Enjoy that Petit Arvine for me.

Great video Matthew. I’m thinking of visiting the region now.
Thank you so much. There is so much to explore there and it’s visually stunning.
@@drmatthewhorkey Stunning for sure! I should probably move there.
Are u pulling my chain? Do u live there already 😂🤣
@@drmatthewhorkey I wish. We have been looking for a house in Europe. Mostly Italy. But now France is on our radar in a big way.
Bro how is that Gout coming along? 😂

The audio is not okay
What didn’t you like?
@@drmatthewhorkey I noticed more treble on the sound compared to other content creators' videos. That's all
You just pointed out the semblance and now it bothers me too hahaah will working on fixing in future vids
