    Loved too fish the bass ponds on dark moonless nights and get the big boys too hit a slow rolled Jitterbug, sometimes that size of channel would take it and make you think you had a double digit Bass!, great footage Ty, as always, good clean smelly fun.Teach a boy too fish and he can feed ten families.

    Genuinely curious… when they’re this size, are the barbs not dangerous? I know smaller ones will mess you up, speaking from experience.. kinda scared of the bigger ones myself!

    • @Mrh449
      @Mrh449 2 месяца назад

      Not realy any hook is dangerous, I find smaller hooks have an easier chance at hooking and hooking deep, i myself of all the years fishing I’ve never been hooked passed the barb but I know one day it will happen if I’m unlucky but you know yes big hooks suck more but at the same time if you’re just careful u won’t be hooked

    The first cat looked to be maybe 10 to 12 lbs the others looked to be about 5 to 7 lbs. Nice! I do not think any were channel cats. Catfish I have caught over 15lbs or so ,their heads will not fit in a 5 lb bucket. I use to weigh my cats at Publix and Goodings , you know their scales are accurate.
