Cool post, Gertjan! Film cam’s lack of LCD screen limits POV perspective; viewfinder much too small😊. Difficult to appreciate the film color rendition on RUclips considering the need to digitize the analog image. Are pics you posted scans of the color prints, or processed scans of the color negatives? How you convert color negatives into digital images in LR/Photoshop would make a great future video. What type of focusing screen is in the Canon AE-1? (Plain or split image?) BTW, your duck impersonations need improvement - I don’t think the ducks were impressed.😊 🦆 Cheers!
Hey Paul, thanks! Yeah that's a downside to the rangefinder ;) the pics are digital files I got back from the scanning lab! I have the negatives, so I'll experiment with these as well!
Really good video and pictures. Analoge is a long time ago. I did have a Doka for about 16 years. But love to see more of your experiences. Greetings from the south of the Netherlands.
good pictures! one tip: film (especially the one you’re using, im assuming xtra400) LOVES being overexposed. some shots are a bit underexposed.. still keep at it! Film: Overexposed ✅ Digital: Underexposed✅
Excellent photography
