if you're talking in general, I think the game has a looooong way to go before it stands a chance in the current Free to Play market. Personally, I'm playing it because my clan is having fun catching up. I'm holding out for the potential Clan and Weapon-Only game mode updates.
It's not just you banana, RCF is clunky as fuck for me with a 3050 graphics card. It's like I move and my crosshair is a split second behind my mouse. It's actually unplayable.
when we played RCF recently we realized how close the FOV was too. the player walking speed is also soooo slow in firestorm the new game feels a lot better in our opinion, but there's a way to go on terms of flow and market value
So far, the alpha playtest keeps the arcade-y feel of RC2 (War Trigger Classic) but the visuals of RCF. There's no more armor, and also no fall damage. Which honestly, I liked about RC2 lol. @krystall0000 RGS has been combining their internal releases along with community driven polls. In the last poll, peeps on discord voted for the return of the Frankfurt (RC2) map over the WT3 Kiev. So your observation is correct, community loves RC2, dearly. And looks like, RGS is listening. I'm keeping my fingers crossed tho!
@@TotoroRCGamer Other than wt alpha, What about bringing back the complete rc2 with all the in-game mechanics,graphics, movements and ui? The classic rc2 that all played 10years ago i mean. In this case, everybody can play whichever game they want and noone would be upset in the end. For example, if someone wants to play wt alpha, aight, he can.If someone wants to play rc2, aight too. 2 different options to choose and have fun.Thanks for reply Totoro though!

The "Red Crucible" series got renamed to "War Trigger" a while back, but it's the same game. It costs $20 and you can buy all the premium guns with just honors points. I wouldn't recommend buying it though, there's never any games going my clan uses the "'RC2 / War Trigger Classic" game to do private games and it's great
to make the rc2 back as it was on facebook in 2014, thats what im talking about...Daily 10k players, i guess there is still chance,isnt there? What if they release rc2 as free and update the game weekly with getting feedbacks from community? As you said, community still loves rc2, so is there any problem to stop players to fun in rc2 as they were in 2014?Just Remembering, even the rc2r was 20$, still in the first weeks, 350-400 players were online owing to the old players' nostalgic and excitive feelings towards rc2.
