It's really cool to know that he built the favala map for Brazilians, our community in rc2 was absurd. This game makes me have good memories, I played it from 2013 (I was 8 years old when I started playing rc2) until the end of the game. Congratulations on the video! 🇧🇷🇧🇷

yes, agreed completely! RCF was a doomed toxic relationship. The P2W gap and more. But yea, I too can appreciate John admitting to the regret of not pivoting RC2 to mobile. It's crazy to think if RC2 went mobile they would've keep a lot of the essence of RC2 due to the technical, or graphic limitations of being on a phone
tengo tan buenos recuerdos de este juego, literal fue parte de mi infancia jaja cuando salía recién red crucible antes de que se llenará de hackers y previo al red crucible 2, lo considere de mis juegos favoritos. era llegar de casa para jugar con mis amigos este tremendo título y gratiiis jugandolo directamente desde el navegador... good times. Luego cerraron el juego nose en qué año exactamente para sacar el war Tigger pero ya no era lo mismo, nose que cambio pero ya no me gustaba la jugabilidad y bueno en mi computador al parecer no corría tan bien como rc2 y rc. Previo a que lo cerraran tenia mi cuenta con cantidad de armas comprada pero ya ni recuerdo que Gmail ocupaba para jugar...
RC2 es tan nostálgico. También echo de menos los tiempos sencillos antes de los hackers. Pero lo que más extraño son los viejos visores de francotirador. Quizás todos podamos probar el nuevo War Trigger y Red Crucible Assault. Esperemos que uno de los dos capture esa sensación de ser joven y jugar de nuevo RC2
To fix a minor error: 07:16 - I had missed the part where the conversation had transitioned from Battlefield 1942's Forgotten Hope mod to Battlefield 2's Forgotten Hope 2 mod, so it's really supposed to be Panther Tanks and not Panzer Tanks, though both were very much present in Forgotten Hope 2.

Here goes 45 well spent minutes of my lifeeee 🔥 An extra thought: While I'm sure there have been many changes and a lot was learned since RCF, and there's a good chance they're straying away from this business model moving forward, I gotta say that 32:30 was a little triggering reminiscing about the poorly designed weapons that, purely from MY OWN OPINION, lacked any balance, which furthered the chasm between regular weapons and premium weapons that the P2W structure creates. So either there was a real lack of foresight on how detrimental the weapons were to the core gameplay at the time, or the absurd wave of cash-flow that they found themselves swimming in really clouded their vision. Far too many of the premium weapons had no business being in the game, if anyone (whether unbiased testers or in-house devs) did trial testing and/or Q&A prior to releasing them so frequently they would've known this. But this goes back and ties in to the perceived flex of releasing content at record pace, which evidently destroyed any chance of them looking themselves in the mirror to reflect on what they had become.
The Panzer & Double Dz meta that introduced speed boosting to 130% movement was the first of many insights into the painful RCF reality: p2w guns that lacked balance. The designs were cool, but the guns lacked *design* -- consideration of a meta, balance of stats. It felt like if I didn't get the latest premium, I couldn't enjoy a single game🥲that's why I dropped

The only gun I really ever bought was the Grizzly prior to like 3 other guns I went ahead to buy because it just felt like the Grizzly itself couldn't keep up with the absurd stats advantage that so many of the other weapons had. It just quickly became a money pit that I felt like they were bathing in.
Vou falar português para que todos compreendam a abrangência mundial que o Red Crucible 2 alcançou. Joguei esse jogo desde seu início até seu fim. E ainda jogo, ou ao menos tento jogar esse "novo" War Trigger Classic. Acredito que não só eu, como milhares, se não milhões de pessoas ficaram chateadas com o fim desse jogo e, analisando o contexto atual, não era necessário ter feito mudanças, exceto adicionar novas armas ou mapas. É o único jogo que joguei até hoje, não me adaptei a nenhum outro. Me entristece saber que a RGS simplesmente abandonou o RC2 como se não fosse nada, e nisso incluo John também. Ainda mantemos a comunidade ativa, mesmo com hackers ou afins. Queríamos que tivessem mantido a essência de sempre, que mantivessem a jogabilidade e as estratégias de jogo. Vocês arruinaram todas nossas esperanças. Não sentimos ódio ou algo assim, só queríamos o básico e fomos retribuídos dessa maneira, uma pena. rc2 was my favorite game back in highschool haha, and I miss playing snipers only with the eternity clan. But its nice to still see you guys close
