You're a life saver man. I've been trying to import a dragon animation and it was always so small that i've been having problem with attaching particle systems. But after your video everything solved. Thanks again for helping out

I think out of everything I've seen now, this method works best. The only real remaining issue is that the imported bones seem huge, and the physics assets don't generate properly. Did you find any solution for that in particular?

For few days now I have been trying to import my gun with Armature to Unreal Engine but it crashes everytime i try to do so. I have tried on both engines UE5 and on UE4. Only importing the guns mesh works normally and importing my characters floating hands with an armature works.

There's a lot of things that can go wrong. One that comes to mind is the name of your root bone. This video, although correct, is very minimal. There are a lot of videos on exporting animations to unreal that go into much more detail and will help you with troubleshooting.

@@Anon_2_1 I'm glad you got it resolved. I saw the comment was old but some people, like myself, take long breaks so I thought it might be worth a reply. Cheers.

i made an animation where the player jumps and moves but in ue the jump plays while everything else remains static, does anyone know what could be causing this?
