    This happens to be a really great set up specially for cocktail. I had a chance to hear these speakers at a live event outside. They sound fantastic perfect for country clubs background, music, easy listening I would never use these to actually DJ with my real system is an RCF and I’m impressed with these for what they are.

    Can I control the equalizer and volume for both EV8 speakers in the application at input 1 Simultaneously with one slider?
    If I buy 2xEverse 8, can I adjust the AUX output volume in the app? I would like to control the AUX volume to a third-party subwoofer.

    Will be running the same set up this season except with EV RE3 mics, so quick and easy. Going to add a small mixer and battery to power it if I ever need more than one mic going.

    GREAT video of this versatile speaker! I do the same except my Sennheisers are battery powered so need for a cord. I use rechargeable batteries. I use djayapp for the DJ part of it since you can set it to automix.

    How do you manage gracefully fading out of the song? Does spotify support that?

    I have the Everse 8 but run it to my laptop and use Serato Play. I don’t trust Bluetooth and rather have control on the laptop for transitioning. I see a lot of DJ’s using iPads & Bluetooth and I’m shocked cause that shit ain’t failsafe.

    • @ozarkmixdj

      That’s a good idea. 🫡

      Totally agree! I use my laptop and one of those tiny mydj2go2 controllers, just for a bit of control. I like to cue up the recessional song to the right spot, (usually before hand, but sometimes I forget and like to be able to do it during the ceremony with a lollipop style headphone). Not sure how you’d do that with Spotify on an iPad. Good tip on finding out what the last thing the officiant says will be though. It’s usually either “you may now kiss”, which I think is the best time to play the music while the crowd is cheering, but most officiants then also announce them as husband and wife after the kiss. Then there was one time a few weeks ago, I thought the officiant forgot the signing, but they actually wanted to do the recessional first, then the signing after, when the crowd was walking away to go inside the venue, and nobody thought they should let me know, as if that’s a normal thing to do. I talked to the officiant and the coordinator before and nobody told me, hence why I thought she forgot. Can’t be too careful
      How do you find the volume of the Everse 8? I’m looking at getting one for ceremonies. Can you crank it up for the recessional song pretty loud?

      @@TopHatMusicyou are complicating this. What this dude is doing is fine. I do the same thing. If Bluetooth fails, I carry a lightning to 1/4 inch adapter and a 1/4 inch cable just in case. I’ve never had to use it thank goodness.

    • @TopHatMusic
      @TopHatMusic Месяц назад

      @@JoeS795 I have bad luck, I’d probably end up having to use it during the bride’s processional. I’d rather just use what will work best from the start. I might eventually streamline my set up a bit though; it is more complicated than most people’s, I realize

    Everse 8 has been great for me. I’m a classical/jazz guitarist who does ceremonies using Sennhieser lapel mic for officient, Tonedexter preamp powered by Everse for guitar. Being a real musician instead of a DJ I hit cue for wedding party and improvise segue into bride processional, then improvise a cadence to get out of tune when bride hits the alter. I hit the recessional when officiant announces couple. Recorded music at a ceremony is tacky. Live music is best.

    Hello everyone, I want to share my impressions. Recently, I also conducted a large-scale testing of the Everse 8 speaker, but at a street concert in the city of Kazan. Golden Retro Hits (live vocals) ruclips.net/video/ZH0lRGB3YUk/видео.html Shooting from different angles and distances. The timecodes of the main episodes are indicated in the pinned comment to the video. I want to note that this Everse 8 is a very good thing, it sounds far ahead and can be clearly heard from all sides. It's just great for its size and weight!
