Mikel Arteta changed this man. Putting him in a spot where his qualities are shown and where his bad habits are less of a problem yet he has matured as well seemingly losing that short temper
If he wins the league with Arsenal, this is gotta be one of the best redemption arc in football history. They could literally making a movie about this.
Granit Xhakas's turnaround at arsenal has taught me a lot about life. 1) Change is constant. 2) The beast in a person can become an angel with the right person or people around him/her. 3) Hard work pays more than talent If talent doesn't work hard enough. 4) Never let the bad side of you overshadow the best parts of you... I LOVE ❤️ ARSENAL TILL I DIE 🫶🏽💪💯
I am pretty sure Mikel said " if you leave you have lost the chance to prove the hater wrong , if you stay you will prove them wrong under my empire" and you will be loved that will be your sweet revenge and win some
Without lieing, have been a very big Xhaka fan since day one!! I was like there must be something wrong with my club, it's either, he was being played out of position or there was something behind the scenes, because I was like, why is this man performing so well in Switzerland then in my Arsenal FC, kudos to my boss Mikel for convincing Xhaka to stay, I was even crying when my fellow fans were criticising him too much, especially in AFT TV 😭
Xhaka has always been a player with his heart on his sleeve, I have always hoped for what has happened since Arteta stuck with him, he's now showing he's one of the best in the world, and he's earned everyone's love the hard way, he didn't start out at the best of times with Arsenal. Personally I hope he never leaves 👍👍👍
Smashed it with the video bro. Granit Xhakas story been amazing one of my favourite arsenal players at the moment. His passion and desire for the club and he plays for the badge
Can remember him ever saying he despised the club. All he said was he felt he didn't want to be there anymore due to abuse he was getting from some sections of the Fans. Nothing to do with the club itself.
one way or another AFC create stars we improve most players. Xhaka has an amazing story, one that many can learn from about commitment, desire and dedication. its never over until its over, fight for what you want and you have already won
As an Arsenal fan, I didn't care about the banter and attitude. It was just the red cards all the time. It cost Arsenal dearly. Now, as he has gotten older I think he controls his emotions much better. I don't recall the last time he received a red. Also, I also notice that he celebrates with Odegaard first and Odegaard is always talking to him. I think Xhaka is mentoring him and helping him become a great captain. Also, there was a few times after some goals where he pulls the whole squad into a huddle to talk with them, which is great to see. I am so happy Mikel Arteta talked to him.
Perfectly said bro! i've always been a fan of xhaka, but it always pains me that he got red cards, anger issues etc etc, but seeing him rn, makes me so happy, i hope we win the leauge and i hope many fans see him as a hero! !
That's why you don't just position people anywhere they don't suit. It's important to understand the strength of people and their weaknesses and deal with everything accordingly. Xhaka was made bad due to putting him where he doesn't function well and that exposed him a lot. Now credit to Mikel for understanding everyone and putting them where they perform better.
I used to PHYSICALLY hate him! Didn’t think Arteta was the right choice as boss either! So kudos to Arteta for finding his position and Xhaka for still having the ability to change! 👏👏👏 And silly silly ME! 🙄😔
Why? I'm an Arsenal fan for over 30 years, what did Xhaka ever do to enrage you? I'd like to know the perspective of fans who dislike him. What did he do wrong? Throw the shirt when he was abused by our fans? Thats our fault not his.
Arsenal were lucky to have Arteta as coach. His experience as player and pep’s former assistant help him a lot to understand his player, unleash their true potential and use his creativity and tactical awareness to make Arsenal what they are today.
Why should them???sometimes because of critism...make someone turn from zero to hero..it motivates them..in a way....now see him??from gangster to. Deadly monster in midfield..😄😄
Xhaka doing well. But against city.....he must not get caught square on edge of the box so a city player can fall over his leg ....like last year. That pen gave them a foothold to go on and win against 10 men.
Thanks man! Its the official one from their page but it doesn't fall under copyright if you use less then 7 seconds between cuts and if you add in your own spin with editing or commentary
I'd normally be biased towards Xhaka because I share Albanian blood with him, but whilst I think he`s a good player, I do NOT think he's good enough to be part of a EPL champions team. His contribution to Arsenal resurgence at the top of EPL has been "minimal" when you consider the contribution of Partley, Martinelli, Odegard, Saka, Jesus, White, Saliba, Nketia or even Trossard recently. Arsenal need someone better than Xhaka if they're to win the Premier League. Of course he has improved some aspects of his game from last season (almost all Arsenal players seem to have), discipline above all, but he`s failed to put in use one of his best trait... shots from distance. Xhaka should be the one scoring what Jorginho or Zonchenko scored with in the last game against Villa. I dont know why Xhaka has found himself in a perfect shooting positions time and time again in many game this season and yet he hesitates to shoot and looks for the short pass instead.
Right?! I saw him play at the start of his Arsenal career. He was bleeding amazing. Not like today of course, under Arteta, even better. But when he was at his lowest on that day with crystal palace, I couldn’t see bad of him. All I see was a team with no objective, everyone playing individually. It wasn’t his fault they struggled. It was the whole team. And you can see him trying his best on the pitch. I could see the hatred to him brewing even a few weeks before that match. And he was given the captain’s armband didn’t help. It just brewed THE STUPID FAKE FANS who only know how to curse and shout to nitpick every single shit. The other players didn’t play much better. I would say, he came back really great. We could say the same for Özil. It wasn’t fair for him, when he was getting lower in his career at Arsenal, all the fake fans could talk about was his wages. If there was enough support, he could have the same comeback story as Xhaka. I hated that due to bad management and fake fans being loudest, our best players being made terrible like this. I was fully behind Xhaka and Ozil even during these terrible times. Sad, the negative screamed louder.
Facts... I keep on telling my mate who loves it. AFTV rise is in direct relationship to our down fall and increase in toxic atmosphere in the club. I really despise that lot. The club became a laughing stock and banter club globally in part due to their channel... Capitalizied on our bad results for their individual fame. They were never their for the clubs moral support.
@@keeganantony9745 I must say, it's AFTV first I knew when I started watching podcasts. But after a year, I unsubscribed to them. Even before Arteta took charge

100% agreed!
I remembered our last season match with Newcastle. He simply said "if u re not ready to play, then stay at home". Classic leader.💪
The GX34 redemption story should be a life lesson for all of us
agreed
If he wins the league he will become a legend of the club.

NEVER. IN. DOUBT. My favourite of all time. Numbers 29 and 34 will always be my lucky numbers.

If Arsenal win the league, they need to write a book for Xhaka’s redemption leading to the day he won it

Aftv should issue an apology to the way they treated him

The criticism made him better though
Xhaka needs to audition for the Superman movie role when he retires
I really hope that xhaka lift the trophy alongside martin odegard side by side if arsenal were to win the premier league trophy😭
The fans that threatened his family are a disgrace
We got Xhaka! Great video btw 😃

I actually can’t believe his turn around , I remember when he almost threw his jersey on the pitch 😂
Neither can I bro and yeah that was mental. Big comeback from him

Pliz win the epl for Xhaka, its a touching story

Talisman...love him to bits
his unnecessary tackles, fouls, stupid mistakes pissed me off
now i take my words back
Played rubbish against Everton. He probably put a bet on Arsenal to lose. His passing with very bad.
Great Video BallTales, can I ask where you found the Granit Xhaka Players Tribune because it was copyrighted and I couldn't find another one
