Dub. It's too rare that I get to hear an authentic sounding Texas accent in media outside of King of the Hill. Plus, the English VA is Urdnot MF'in Wrex and that's just awesome.
How stuff like that doesn’t just become the norm is absurd to me. Capcoms done it since 2008. How are we not doing this for every game sans tekken for obvious reasons?
What's absurd to me is that they did give us that option in BBTAG, and also had the option to have the opponent's characters use their voice settings, yet it's completely absent here. Would be cool, especially since we now have three voice dubs to choose from.
His overall talking voice, such as taunts, intros, outros and burst quotes are really good in english. But honestly I think his attack quotes like his supers and swinging behemoth typhoon just sounds amazing in japanese, he has a lot of oomph in his voice.
I like his english voice than his jp voice when he does his super. During the super, I noticed his mouth moving, but in jp dub, he's just yelling. Down the system is cool to me.

@@Hellscrap3r hes saying that Goldlewis doesnt have an iconic JP voice. Sol’s voice, for example, is so iconic that despite the english VA being pretty good, its damn near impossible to come close to the OG. Goldlewis doesnt have that problem, so the english VA can be fully appreciated
It would be dope if goldlewis had his american voice in the sub and the Japanese characters(since they're like special in the gg universe) spoke Japanese in the dub
It's incredibly rare I say this, but the dub is way better for him I think. This character just makes way more sense speaking English and the English VA absolutely nailed it.
Both of them are great, although with how the Japanese is slightly in sync with Goldlewis' talking makes it a bit more natural when using the taunts but the delivery with the English is not bad. But the attacks sound so badass with both voices, especially with "Down The System's" full charged attack.
I am not a big fan of the English voices in Strive since Sol is awful, Ky is bland, Pot is too soft in his delivery & so on. But english Goldlewis is actually REALLY good, it's kinda smooth & raspy at the same time. But Most of all his version of down with the system is great
I would say that, at least with sol, the voice actor is good but the delivery just isn't there, so I imagine it's just misdirection in the director side
Call me cringe but I love the Strive dub (Sin actually sounds like a teen in the dub, A.B.A is deranged as per usual, Baiken's Southern accent fits her really well, etc)

ENG VA really sells the UMA nerd part of goldlewis, but JPN goldlewis sells how he is about to fucking nuke your health bar with one super
