Confirming Slayer is the one that turned Nagoriyuki into a vampire because he saw promise in him and taught him what he knows is one of the coolest fucking things ever.

Come on, now. This is a poetic, dramatic vampire who took Nago on as his first student. He also ran an assassin's guild, so it's not like he had (or has) a unique respect for life. He liked Nago and that's why he saved him, there's no other way to read it that isn't ignoring this whole story.
this also lowkey further confirms the theory that Nago is literally Yasuke in the GG universe

Odd considering the real life samurai he is based on, yasuke, was born in the 1550s. I guess in guilty gear's universe their yasuke was a few decades older 🤔

@@Sir_Bucket the Europeans must of just opened trade with the Japanese much earlier than the real world, as Nago is based of the Samurai Yasuke who arrived as a European body guard during trade. Assuming Nagoriyuki IS just an immortal Yasuke, his origin should be the same.
Ah yes, the mosy Dandy vampire the world has ever seen... after 5 years of missing from the game, he's still as handsome as ever, he's still as classy as ever, and he's still the most Dandy gentleman out there! (Plus, Sharon is still as great as ever) Also, can we talk about the fact that his theme - "Ups and Downs" is a certified jazzy banger? It's certainly fitting for a character like Slayer!

This is a fighting game, nobody truly retires.
Slayer's interactions was very inspirational, i personally been wondering about what my purpose in life is.having lost my mom and constantly battling depression i feel like all my joy has been stripped away from me. But hearing Slayer speak along with Nago and Zato has really inspired me to keep moving forward and strive to leave my mark on life.

A priestess of a god of change and motion, a lot of what she says and preaches entails going forward without looking back. I spent so many years stuck in my parents basement trying to get lost in video games and only now am I starting to appreciate life in my twenties. Especially as a person who is afraid of death and worried of time lost, it’s nice to leave that stuff behind and just focus on bettering yourself.
I've been through a similar road. Know that depression is not a flaw in logic, but a flaw in perspective. Try new things, seek new experiences, and your perspective can change.

Omg... I absolutely love how everything is coming full circle. Something as seemingly inconsequential as a FINGER snap, is actually a signature of Assassin's Guild Dandiyism, or just being under Slayer's tutelage. If I can properly recall, did Venom have a finger snap taunt of victory pose in the XX or Xrd series too? I know Millia didn't, cause it seems the Dandy thing is a boys club lol. This is still so dope. That final pose with all 3 was the visual I never knew I needed. I was never a Slayer player, but strive just created a fan. Loved him from a lore perspective, but this just fleshed some things out for me.
