Thanks fer the video. It was refreshing to not have to try to listen to the person talking over the background music. Even when there is no talking I don't like background music. Thanks, again.
I liked this video. I am going to build one of my own. Too bad I didn't get to view your video of how to build it. Perhaps show the video without any background music. Anyway, I look forward to seeing your videos.
Great video, your holding cell is what I want to build. So after the breeding season is done, they can molt out.Can you give us viewers your measurements on this when you have time. Thanks
Sorry for the late response, I will try to get that for you if I don't forget. I have been away from my birds going on 6 months now. All due to business
@@WingsOfPeace518 Yes, pumpers lay their own about the same time as the stallion system hens. Usually 10 days before the hens lay again, but I usually switch hens and give them a break
I m trying the bull system, i have a precious male and i prefer to leave him with the first hen untill she lay the second egg. But unfortunately when i introduce the second hen, he dont want her and he is literary beat her. Can you please help me? Thanks alot!
Sorry for the late reply, unfortunately not every male works well on the bull system. There are variables, if the cock bird was paired and held with a single hen for an extended time..he'll be aggressive, I would try putting him into rotation before pairing to any certain hen. Just my opinion
The better method is at day 6 you let her see her old mate, and when she lays, she and her old mate can rear the babies, that way no need fo pumpers, still, well designed compartments, good ijob
I don't want to wear the hens out and also want to use polygamous on the hens as well. Pumpers allow me to rest the hen and breed onto another cock bird
@H Rodriguez been watching this since last night. It's a 1:4 ratio. You choose the good line of cocks that you wish to breed. After laying their eggs, the foster comes in and the breeder hens gets to rest for a certain period to recover from stress. It depends how many rounds you want to produce eggs as long as their are in good shape, healthy and fit to lay another sets of eggs. Then you can put in another set of cock and hens so the old ones gets to rest and wait for the next season you wish to breed them.
Sorry for such a late response, but thought it'd be better late then never! You probably can but the hens would really wear down. I would recommend fostering them
I didn't end up fostering his eggs. Left for work and the eggs were left unattended. When I came back, I ended up selling him..pretty sure they were all fertile though.
Stepan Nikolayev used to drive but run my own company for 5 years now. Had to go to California for half a year on business hence the reason why I’ve been away from the birds

@@ApplisLoft did you make it back to them?
Nice keep them flying
Good video and set up :)
After a pair of effs are kaid, how long do you wait until you move them to pumpers? Also, how long until she drops the next two eggs?
I move them right away if the pumpers have laid. If not, I still pull from the hens in the stallion system and wait for pumpers to lay
@@ApplisLoft pumpers must have laid their own. Then you switch them?
How long until they drop the next set of eggs? ~14 days?

Hi, what material is on the floor of the hen cages? Seems to be some kind of pellets. Thanks
Hey sorry for the late reply, yes it's basic stove pellets, cheap and can be used in a garden afterwards :)
Very good video, please repost the building of the bull system without music
the video wasn't complete, battery died while recording so there isn't much content. I might make another video in the future
Nice . If you make sliding doors that you can slide open from outside without bothering the hen that be good
Yes I was thinking to do so too, I still have alot of improvements to make to dial it in well. Thanks for watching
Yes, that's a good idea.
If you don’t have foster parents can you still use this system?
Sorry for such a late response, but thought it'd be better late then never! You probably can but the hens would really wear down. I would recommend fostering them
do you transfer eggs under pumpers
Racing Pigeons yes I foster the eggs, also pair them on their second round and let them raise a set themselves
@@ApplisLoft the hen incubate the eggs alone? And raise the squabs?
I like it
Oh yea, thanks.
🙏🏼
What is the purpose of this system
saves time if you're trying to test a specific cock bird on multiple hens
HOW MANNY EGGS DID HE FERTILE FROM 4 HENS
