Ikko Musikv OH7 - The best IEM.

- The OH7 are probably the best earphones in the world! The bass is spectacularly good, the vocals are organic and life-like, the highs are clear and smooth. I’m in awe of Ikko! Well done and thank you for putting out such a product.
I have the OH7 as replacement for IE80s for 3yrs now, I love how relaxing and comfortable it sounds. The super wide soundstage and the bass is just butter!!!!
The issue with OH7 is OXIDATION because the copper body turns dull quickly and it releases a green substance specially at the bottom of the ear tips.
NEVER EVER think of using it for workout or any activity that involves sweating because of the oxidation I mentioned, at will smell rotten metal if you don't clean it.
I worry that there might be oxidation inside but so far 3yrs of use no any issue.
But I will always recommend OH7 to anyone because I use it more often than my Adromeda-gold and Polaris2 and even stopped using my Ananda.
It's great to connect with someone else who appreciates the beautiful music delivery of the OH7! I also experience issues with green oxidation and constant maintenance, but I overlook it because of the powerful, smooth, and musical sound that I haven't found anywhere else.
At the end they have a quality driver and a custom crossover ..... That's what makes them special ....

I just found a new pair for $400.00 bucks.....it was the last pair and the guy at the music shop told me....give me what I paid and take them..... he told me $395.78 and I said okay here is $400.00 grabbed the box and walked out ......

Go for the OH-10 these are not worth the extra

@@novanvandamma915 Hi - you should buy them. I'm listening to them now, they are great buds, better then oh10 - just more of that but more head-room. Bass is good, they play classical great. The sound signature changes dramatically depending on what tips you use - so is fun to try different ones. only down side is that the brass will turn green if you get them wet, and i imagine over time they will degrade dure to the brass oxidyzing, when that happens, i'll buy another pair.

I love the bass, warmth and overall presentation of the OH10. I thought they slayed Kato and Timeless. Yes - it's an emotional response. Saving up for the OH7. Thx. Oh, btw, thanks for the review of the BTR5. It is good on AAC but really terrific connected via the cable (but no EQ available. Keep up the good work. I don't see many reviewers with your candor and passion. Good fun.

I just purchased used pair for 180$.
The condition is not the best but the price was very appealing.
I can't wait to try them out.

@David Mesquita I do have concerns about Green brass rot, what happens if the inside gets wet and forms green brass patina? you think it might affect the sound?
Hi there. That’s a valid point. I haven’t experienced any sound degradation yet. I believe the green stuff only appears around where sweat and moisture touch the brass. Even is there was some on the inside, which I haven’t noticed, not sure it would affect the drivers performance
@@SirMesko I got a pair... the sound heavly depends on what ear-tips are worn. TBH I was expecting too much from these, they are ok, I think the OH-10 are as good if not better
@@ventureoutdoors648 I’m happy that you got a pair. The tips are very important, especially to ensure a good seal. Regarding the OH10 being better, I don’t know but I would be surprised if that was the case. I would suggest that you keep listening with the OH7 and let your ears get used to the musical and punchy sound, preferably using a hi Res source
The OH10’s are currently my top dog in my IEM’s stable…the OH7’s are the only step up from there.

If you want to listen to music and engage with it at a very emotional level, and if you got the money to splash the OH7 are definitely worth it.
