I’ve called it tylenol 3 for years, my dad always called it that he was a PA. Then after I moved out, and told several Dr.’s t-3 worked well for me, they’d always ask what t-3 is! So I’ve stopped calling it that.
The disabled girl made me cry. She’s down because people are treating her bad because of her disability. I’d rather spend time with my pets. People are so cruel.
The “gatekeeper” approach in shared health care (finances / resources) can be condescending and/or mean incorrect and/or late diagnosis for us, as patients. It’s the hard pill of social health care.
It’s nice to see physicians actually believe their patients when they tell them they’re in pain. They treat with pain medicine and don’t tell them just to take Ibuprofen. The US has caused so many people in real pain to turn to the streets because doctors don’t believe them.
General doctors no longer treat chronic pain conditions. Because of the restrictions on narcotics, many doctors prefer pain specialists to manage pain. Help is available if you comply with the pain clinic’s plan. But if you like using illegal drugs, then that’s on you why you can’t get pain management.
For the little girl with hypermobility, I disagree with the doctor saying children can outgrow. I was told this with my child and it wasn't until multiple surgeries on almost all joints and not until her 30s when she discovered she had Elhos Danlos Syndrome (ED). She suffered greatly and it took years before this diagnosis. To the mother, please mention this to the referring doctor so your daughter will not suffer like mine did. There is no cure, it does not go away , people do not outgrow it. It gets worse with age, it can affect the entire body including organs, heart, ears, eyes, reproductive organs, etc. Doctors please remember this so children will not needlessly suffer for decades without being diagnosed.
I’m horrified that the lady of childbearing age was put on Accutane for a mild acne case. This lady would have done very well on retinol treatment without the pregnancy risk should she get pregnant. Not to mention all the BHA preparations available. A good BHA wash, left on the skin for a couple of minutes, followed with a BHA cream alternating with retinol until tolerance develops, then daily retinol.
These doctors and nurses are wonderful people. My one concern is air quality in the exam rooms. They really need HEPA filtration air cleaners in all the rooms.
I really like the notification white screen. No screaming out names and also protects privacy better. Fewer people craning their necks to gawk at you.
The coughing without a tissue just is not acceptable. And they wonder how people catch viral diseases????
Had to look up what Co-codamol is. We call is Tylenol #3 in the Usa.

I would send the man with such psoriasis to see Dr. Emma Craythorne, in Harley Street.

ED is more serious than just hyper mobility
It’s Ehlers Danlos. However, I also totally disagree re “outgrowing” hypermobility.

For the love of god leave our docs rooms alone the Americans would love this care, we are ok you look after your own air
They don’t have HEPA filtration in any exam rooms that I’m aware of. Not in the USA, anyhow.
Not Squamous Cell?you
