That first doctor did not treat the girl well... When I was a child, I was allergic to bees and one day one stung me in the eye. The doctor, a somewhat angry woman lol... She checked me anyway, and sent me home, the next day my entire face was swollen. They had to inject me with steroids to reduce the swelling.

There is such a thing as chair excersises but I don’t see the doctors mentioning to those who cannot do normal excercise 🙄

Geezus Dr Bolam! That poor man needed a salbutamol nebuliser & steroids STAT! He should’ve been given advice to call an ambulance if he can’t breath when he’s outside & doesn’t have his preventer & reliever puffers. Prescription antihistamines not just OTC ones too! Disgraceful. Poor man 😰

my god just do the fucking MRI. This infuriates me because I was told the same thing and there absolutely was multiple issues that would of shown up in scans if they took the time to do them. Took me having to go in by ambulance to get them to do the scans

Love Dr. Farida Ahmad. Some of those other doctors are so dismissive & really seem like they don't have a clue. They say so many ridiculous cliches. Dr Pelly, when someone talks about some hard time "show compassion, then the next day tell them to move on & come up with a solution". I guess you can only talk about something one time then are expected to get over it. Dr. Anna Graham, "the kinds of things that help are you taking more control of things". If she could she would. Some of those doctors seem really insensitive & just give people pat answers that don't help anything.

Depressed I have suffered most of my life talking with phsycologists are useless tyey don’t have a clue in extreme cases. If they can find it in a book they don’t know what to do for maybe fill out forms to see how u rate on a depression scale. That’s why ppl refuse

I have a problem with this series because it seems like 4 out of 5 patients are told it’s either all in their head pr that whatever the problem is, they just have to leave it alone and it will go away in a couple of days.

An mri shows soft tissue damage. If this program was supposed to show how great english gps are at resolving their patients problems, it's mostly just showing how they throw a cream at every patient that walks in the door while ignoring patients who have done everything they can for themselves and are being ignored by the gps until its critical.
