Hi Zac! Great videos man.
I potentially start next week. I’ve suffered mental health issues this year, severe OCD. Been off work for 10 months but looking to start work again, but not office work. Would you say this job would be good for my mental health, eg keep my mind busy, or do you think it’ll make my mental health worse with stress?
Thanks mate
Honestly man, this ain’t an easy job, I’d recommend dominos pizza delivery for you to get started, but this will be a good challenge. Remember, you can get through it.
@@ZacJonesRUclips I appreciate you replying mate. I used to be a normal happy guy like you. Now I battle with my mind every day. Its crazy man. I never thought I’d have any mental health issues. I understand it’ll be a challenge, but I’m hoping it’ll be good for me, as in keep my mind constantly engaged. If I don’t like it, I can always try Ocado, or like you said Dominos, but I imagine the wage is crap.
Stay strong mate ❤
Mate I work for sainsburys and it’s nearly £12 an hour and it’s easy mate! Plenty of time! I suffer with high anxiety mate, autistic and adhd and it’s the only job that’s stuck, good luck mate!
@@MrConnorTubee thanks for chipping in with that man, I’ve heard that off a couple people, it’s good to support eachother!
Back in your zone ✊ Stay safe out there Zac. I finally uploaded my first video on Amazon.
I’ll check it out thank you.

Good video mate. Bike is definitely worth more than £10! Good find bro 🥳👏
Hhaha indeed it is, thank you!
As a retired Royal Mail postie, we can't doorstep items like you. if there is no one home you have to try a neighbour, then followed by leaving a card if that is not successful, it all takes time.
.
Listening to the Top G on the job 🙏🔥🐐
Toules dans la vide 😎
Got 170 stops also twice last week! Stops just keep climbing and climbing in number!
Yeah same, crazy Ay?
@@ZacJonesRUclips crazy is an understatment bro lol
170 stop, 300 packages is a normal day now it’s make me reevaluate the job I swear down
@@alphabangura8291 if they hire more drivers to cover extra parcels ppl would stay working for rhem. 140s alot imo. I need a couple 15min breaks to eat. Amazon say you should have a break but don't really want you to have a break. Issa mazza
I like how you all drive manual transmissions over there. I drive a manual for my personal vehicle and when I get into my work van its so weird. Boston, MA here.
Hahahaha everything’s manual in England
Top content as usual Zak. Be safe 💪
Thanks a lot 🙏
Where do you join a Amazon DSP rather than Amazon flex?
I'm due to start classroom training on Monday for 2 days then got 2 days of training with an experienced delivery driver. I'm slightly nervous about it but looking forward to it.
Best of luck
@@ZacJonesRUclips Did you sign up to Wise or not?
How did it go?
@@rickylock3399 hi i have to download wise too I am waiting for my drug alcohol test on Monday I’m nervous because I smoke weed but don’t drink. Did you have to take a drug alcohol test too
Many thanks
Can you get away with having a little vape on the vans?
I'm from Kent in the UK. Top video again, mate!
Thank you Richard!!!
Great Videos mate. I noticed that you delivered with DSPs before but now you drive a 2.0. Any reason for the change? I am trying to decide which is better, so you input will be appreciated. Cheers
Ireland !
Have training starting Monday coming and watching your channel makes it look abit more relaxed than them American dsps, do you ever get to take the van home ?
I don’t take my van home and haha no it’s not relaxed
Stay safe Zac 🙏🏽☔️🇬🇧
Thank you!!!
189 Stops 295 Drops every day very very hard
Try working for RM and doing at least double that, and being governed by the USO that dictated how the job is done. Hamstrung from the word go, unlike this lot who deliver and don't care about doorstepping.
I had 109 stops today and I took about 5 and half hours
I hate it when I have to make a sudden stop or turn and my oversize gets all messed up too lol
First thing in the morning that’s the worst 😆
Great work Zac, when do you eat... absolute grafter!!
Hahaa I’ll find 5/10 mins
Do you do dsp 1.0 or 2.0? And do you know the difference between the two? I’ve been offered a job for Dsp 1.0 company using plain white rental vans that pay for weekly.
I’m not sure if I like that idea, compared to yours. Yours seems better
Start of the video “already behind cos had to fuel up” *proceeds to pick pears* 😂 can see where your going wrong lad, I managed 175 stops today in under 4hrs, was eager to get back for the Utd game lol. There’s lots of little tips and tricks you can do to avoid ever needing a sweep👍🏼
Door stepping is literally our own faults for high stop counts cause it makes the system believe it’s achievable , better off taken your time and “follow procedure “ and RTS with parcels if it’s passed your 9 hours
Great video. Top lad 👍🏼
Thank you!!
I actually can't believe it.. thought you were gone 😅 nice one 👍
Never giving this up 💯
Cheers for the video. Thinking of starting Amazon delivery work.
Thank you, best of luck
hire van, use own van, use company van, which one better?
Ha ha hahahaha ended up buying a bike 🤣 I start training next Monday bit concerned about coping to be honest but I've been told I'll do it , I'll give it my best shot.
Hahahah bit of entertainment! Best of luck man
Ever thought of buying a van and building it into a camper and travelling around
Would make good content for you
At this moment no!
I’m from Huddersfield
Great man, how is it there?
Right from the word go. theft. in the form of scrumping along with Amazon delivery drivers, the shortcut kings _Doorstepping everywhere_
Do you think they have enough time to do each parcel properly?
Love from Pakistan
🇵🇰
banks , southport. done that route a few times myself but from the leyland depot . we mustn’t have that route anymore
Yeah we took a few Leyland routes earlier this year
Aye you sure do have a full on day. And work very well indeed. Some of them later drops you had. Farms ect. Reminded me very much just like I remember at hesketh bank southport
indeed thats where I was hahahaha
@@ZacJonesRUclips o aye. Its 30 years since I was there. Very nice place. From the good times and a lovely firm colin a son upper aughton road southport. A great firm to deal with. Sadly they no longer there now. 😊👍
Hi Zac
I’m hopefully going to be passing my driving test before the end of this year and want to start working for Amazon asap do you know if I’ll have to be driving for a certain amount of time before I can start working?
Not in most DSP’s!
Hey Zac! Great videos! How many steps per day do you do on average?
Not sure, 10km in distance
Hi Zac, in many adverts on indeed they write 95£+bonus, did you get that bonus regularly or any?😂 or it's only a trap for new drivers?
No it’s more a trap
I think it depends if they like you lol
Scotland i am a Amazon driver too
Don’t see why your moving so quickly , some dsp’s prefer quality over speed, if your going to fast then that’s how mistakes happen.
You can’t go to slow or you will never finish pedal to the metal
What camera do you use mate? Also I start my 2nd chime training tomorrow then followed by 2 days of ride-along training
Best of luck man, go pro, but in my elder videos an iphone
@@ZacJonesRUclips thanks man appreciate it 🙏🏼 dropped you a sub, keep it up 👍🏼
I'm doing induction on Friday iv been doing Evri and not earning enough I'm in Sussex uk
Best of luck
Love ur vids
Thank you 🙏
Am upset driver in cork Ireland your top man
Does the route app give you the most efficient routes - or do you manually choose the order of deliveries
It gives you a route, not the most efficient always
Bro you end up driving past drops you need to attend later. It's ridiculous🤣 and harmful to the environment burning all that fuel
@@mrandersonbrumuk3765that must be why a delivery driver with my parcel was on my street and then randomly drove away into the sunset..
Thinking about doing this once I passed my driving test. Do you load up your own van ?
Yeah
@@ZacJonesRUclips cheers
Im Polish do they give vans to drivers who wants to use it for travelling to work ?
UK here
Do they employ many female drivers?
Great vid.
I agree what you said about Andrew Tate. It is important to be a stronger man.
Greetings from Germany working the same job what are the conditions there ?
Really? Would you like to do a collab on my channel?
We can make that happen. What type of camera you using in your videos ?
Bro amazon is it working in Republic russia ?

Hii how can I get that job
Hi zac , I'm Danny how can I get that job
I applied with your dsp but they want weekend availability 🤦🏻♂️
Haha damn!!
hi I have my ride along tomorrow. I just wanted to ask do you get your dsp seating next to you for the ride along. please let me know how it work
Yeah, someone from your DSP, thank you!
What did the classroom training involve? Any Tests?
I do Amazon van delivery it’s so scary these days especially after all the stuff getting more expensive at least we get one report a week about van being stolen crime knife etc
And it’s so tiring init I try going to gym after work it just can’t work out 😂too much of a hard job you go gym the day after they have to send a rescue coz you would be slow am i not rigut ?
What city are you in, so true
I don't care how tiring your job is, just deliver the parcels to people's front doors and not leave them where other people can steal them.
Is it 175 parcels,and 175 addresse's or less
am from neston in cheshire
Hi my dear friend I am looking job Amazon driver I'm from Mumbai India you help me
@Zac Jones you know if one can maybe get visa sponsorship from a DSP ?
Not sure
What’s it like being an Amazon parcel delivery driver I’ve always wanted to do it
Tough
Trust me...theres much other things in life to do. Like going doctors or decorating the living room
You earning 95 a day after tax mate?

am from scotland
Do you get a lunch break and do you work all year round
No I travel a lot, and yeah I break for lunch
Hi Zac ..I had to switch off...too many adverts that I couldn't skip...I remember when RUclips was just about watching videos...bye
I’m the same watching other peoples videos so I understand 👎
@@ZacJonesRUclips I don't mind watching a few ads but you were taking the P with this one, lol
@@davyhereyoutube I don’t actually know what ads get put on my video
@@ZacJonesRUclips Ok, fair enough..I'll still follow you...good luck, cheers
O hell aye. All these adverts often double adverts as well on youtube. Gets right on your tits now all the time.
Just wondering how easy it is usually to find the addresses. Is the Amazon app pretty accurate in finding the front door?
there comes times its wrong but its usually okay
Got a drug & alcohol test tomorrow at amazon depot and hopefully get a bit more info on actual pay etc,I do have it in email also..but also been offered dpd odf..anybody here done both and which would recommend...Great content by the way,it gives some real insight
Hopefully you pass the test
With DPD you have to cover a wider area plus the boxes are a lot heavier. You also have to all your re-attempts. With Amazon your route is normally within a close radius in terms of drops plus the boxes aren't that heavy unless if your working in the country side or farms were you will get less stops but double the amount of driving. I personally think Amazon drivers should get paid more for the amount of work they do
How can I apply for a job with them?
Does everyone receive training before starting the job or does it depend on the company your working for
You're probably already doing it but if not then yeah. Everyone gets trained together. Even if you work for a company where you rent the van for yourself and take home, then you still train with the others who just use the Amazon vans
@@me5969what is the classroom training? Does it involve any tests at all and so you have to pass them?
what time do you usually start and finish daily ? (depot to depot)
10.40-7
Are you paid for an 8 hr route regardless of finish time as an example? @@ZacJonesRUclips
What's the money like? I've got drug test in 2 weeks it's says 150 to 180 pound per day so between 750 and 900 a week wage, is that true or?
I get about 120 but I don’t pay anything for van hire
I've just had my first day of training, I'll be on £153 a day, van, fuel and insurance all included
Have they started to add cameras in your vans?
My ones have been covered with stickers tbh.
@@ZacJonesRUclips no way😂 is the front and back one covered
@@HollyPeersHD just the one facing me 😎
No way my name Saleh aswell 😅
After watching this. I quit before my first day lol
Haha
Do you lose money if you get a rescue/sweep???
No, how about where you are?
How much did you flip the bike for brother - Good bike for £10
Left it in the van park and someone took it
@@ZacJonesRUclips Jesus christ, bastards!
Hey bro how is the actual job? Is it chilled? fast paced? a little bit of both? I know its a long grind delivering so many parcels but is it always a rush? I work in food retail so idk how it compares but im always seem to be on my feet rushing to do stuff and only get 10-15 min short breaks every now and then in my old job. I feel like im sprinting most of the time but i get the job done. In simple gym terms is it a brisk walk? a jog? or a sprint most of the time?. Im already used to serving 200-300+ customers per day and in my mind im thinking "ill just treat the 200 parcels per day like customers" lmao. Let me know cuz im starting in two weeks time.
It’s intense can’t lie! It’s a jog metaphorically, I might not be at that intensity but I finish later than my peers
It's definitely a grind. If your young, agile and you know your areas, you will finish quicker than most people. When I first started working for them few months ago I was doing 140 stops in like 8-9 hours whereas know I can do it in 4-5 hrs. The most I've had is 187 stops 325 parcels and that took me 6-7 hours. I get on average 182+ stops 300+ parcels 13-15 bags. With 20+ overflow and I'm 40yrs old. It's definitely a young person's job!!
Is it worse than working within a warehouse being a picker? My target is to pick 1800 items per day and the weight varies from 0.5kg - 5kg per item
@@reeeee7839nothing's worse than being an order picker mate.. nothing. I would say though if you're still interested and not delivering then try it part time for a bit because unless you're working nights then you'll make around the same anyway usually. Although if you're still in a warehouse then it might be best seeing if they do a warehouse to wheels or you can do it for free from the government but I can't remember how. Only problem with that though as opposed to house deliveries is some stores are just not built for a HGV at all and you'll be on motorways a lot. More boring but more chill... Until you hit a tiny little town built in the bloody 1400s
Do you get breaks ??
Whenever you like
What happens if you need the toilet?
👀
Just knock on a few doors and someone’s will let you in 👍
