There definitely is a comfort in watching the DT show, because Texas flows through the veins of those born here and those that love it. Excited about season 12, and glad season 13 is around the corner. Go DT crew!

If you haven't been there, the Highway 77 cafe outside of Rosebud, Texas is the real deal diner experience. In addition to great food, walls covered with photos of area veterans.

If y'all are thinking about ideas for episodes specific to Austin, why not talk about Threadgills and the Armadillo World Headquarters? It's a great piece of Austin history that's worth preserving since this town is changing every month. Eddie Wilson has a ton of stories to tell. Maybe the episode can feature long standing music spots like Broken Spoke, and the Continental club.

I was in Austin and Georgetown this past weekend. I loved Georgetown but when I got to Austin it was very sad to see all the graffiti and tents everywhere. I've been to Austin before 2 years ago and it was a lot nicer. It's just sad to see all the historical site in such bad condition.
