Certainly better than rhe C64 atrocity of a conversion yet slightly disappointing given the astonishingly detailed versions on other Z80 based 8 bit machines. Very bare bones scenery, and why did so few Master System racers bother to have variable road gradients when it was perfectly capable of them? Out Run and Road Rash manage the effect just fine.
It seems odd that Taito didn’t put the same effort as Ocean did. But I suppose with 8 bit systems, you have to sacrifice one thing to make another better.
