Test your Korean listening skills with my story. The video starts with the advanced level and eases into intermediate and beginning. This way, you won't know the story line from the easier level and have a "delusion" of understanding the higher level. Begin from advanced and see how much you understand, or begin with one level above your own!

I understood words here and there in the advanced level. I understood 50% or more of the intermediate. I understood the beginner level. With the beginner level, I wasn't thinking so much about the translation, but rather I understood it more in just Korean. Really weird feeling to understand what's going on without having to think of the English.

This was exactly what I needed! I wasn't expecting to understand much from the advanced level, because listening is one of my weakest skills, but I really surprised myself. I was able to understand words here and there, but felt most comfortable in the intermediate section. There were a few words I missed, so I got those with the Korean captions in the beginners section. 정말 감사합니다!

Intermediate level was the most comfortable for me! I could understand every single thing and i seriously started talking to you like "what that is so bad blah blah" 😂... beginner level was too slow and you know very basic for me.. I could understand the main things you said in advanced but not 100 percent so i think that was the most challenging! 이 비디오 만들어서 너무 김사합니다 선생님.. 요즘 한국어 듣기 개선하려고 노력하고있어서 이 비디오는 엄청 효과적이었어요♡♡

That's the beauty of language learning! Once we reach intermediate and above, it gets easier to guess the story!

*Also! Yay! I'm so excited for the next practice videos! 🤗 Listening Comprehension is definitely an area of growth I'm focusing on. Especially learning to recognize words when the pronunciation changes because of their endings or when they're next to other words.
I.e. I mixed up "많았어요" with "만났어요."
And I intellectually know "앉았어요" is the past tense of "앉다" but never heard it out loud so I didn't recognize it 😂 So yeah, this is a big area for me, lol.
      Again, thank you so much!

Yess, what a GREAT PRACTICE!! I love that you chose the advanced-intermediate-beginner order, so as to better estimate comprehension level! I understood like 70% or 80% of the advanced lvl, because I lack vocabulary there and it was a bit fast (which is good to get used to!!) I understood intermediate 100%, so yayy!! 8D I listened to the advanced a second time and it already was a bit easier to follow!! I understood the Beginner level, and a little of Intermediate.
I had the same experience not long ago, the waitress was cleary on drugs and she didn't care at all! We ate without drinks and waited angrily for the receipt, but the waitress never came even after 40 min. I had to go look for her indide (she was just sitting at a table) , and after asking her to come out, it took her another 15 min before comming! Other tables around us just left without paying... I should have done the same but I guess I'm too nice to do that

Maybe it's easier for me, because I'm a student of korean language and economics (Oriental studies,Korea) and we go deep in this language? Because i fully understand intermediate and advanced about higher than 70%,don't want to lie. 리뷰해주세요

Thanks for sharing with us your experiences! I would definitely leave a review, so if the boss does in fact checks them, then at least they know what’s going on, and to improve it if they wish to. If they don’t care, then you just saved some others from a bad experience. So I personally would post the review 😅 when did it happen? I wonder how much is the lowest % to give? Would 5% be fine? 😂 I hope you didn’t give more than 10%!
Also appreciate the advanced to beginner level format! Most do it the other way and I don’t prefer that because I end up knowing the story already and don’t really want to continue, so this video format is like a good challenge 👍 . The script on Patreon also helps a lot in understanding and I like it, but it would be even better if a sentence was paired up (Korean/English) instead of a whole paragraph separately, as it is harder to reference the corresponding Korean sentence.. but that’s just me though 😂
