Two of my favorite Brook Benton songs are "It's Just a Matter of Time" and "A Rainy Night in Georgia." I also like "Looking Back," a song he wrote that was a hit record for Nat King Cole.

An excellent mini-bio of one of the most underrated R&B artists of his day! Yes, the velvet-voiced crooner deserves a place in the R&B Hall of Fame. My only criticism: There was no mention of his biggest hit of the 1970's, " Rainy Night in Georgia"!

I really enjoyed this video Brook Benton was a phenomenal artist, I'm hoping if you would do a video on an Motown band who I think she'll have gotten their props and be inducted into the Rock and roll Hall of Fame they were the rock band Rate Earth, they were called the blue-eyed soul of Motown.
Rare Earth had the guts to do cover versions of The Temptations sound, especially "get ready".
