Welcome to the first ever video! And what a video it is! An Unboxing/Review of the iconic Crockett & Jones Cavendish Tassel Loafer in Burgundy (Color 8) Shell Cordovan. A Goodyear Welted Handmade Shoe from Northampton, UK on the 325 Last with a single leather sole made from the most luxurious high end leather.

Excellent and informative video!!! I am very curious if you know the Edward Green Belgravia tassel loafers, they are exactly the same version as the Cavendish. Have you got a chance to compare these two shoes in calf leather?
Hello, I’ve only tried one pair of EG and it was a bust. I’ve got a video on it, though it turned out to be seconds. Their loafer in very low price is cemented so I’d not buy it.

Excellent review. Do you have any input on sizing? I've been wanting to buy a pair for some years now but the sizing is what keeps me from pulling the trigger. I'm a size 10.5 American, do these run small/large? Thank you

If you are a US 10.5D in shoes like Allen Edmonds and plan to wear these with light socks or no socks I would probably suggest a UK 9 since they run a little wide at the toe box. Feel free to email me at info@thenobleshoe.com

I would honestly say size down half from your regular UK or 1.5 from your us size :) I have a few sizes left in my shop!

Great shoe . I would love to see other brands as well as Carmina / TLB ( their tassel loafers I don’t like box but would be interesting anyway ) maybe Morjas too ( since almost no reviews on this brand made it Spain ) by the way I have bought Carlos santos sneakers from u ( really comfy and looking good ) thanks !

They advertise full grain leather when they use corrected grain. I recommend googling the Morjas Styleforum thread and reading there!
Kostas, do you make Carlos Santos shoes? I've been watching a few of your videos and notice that you compair Crockett & Jones and Carlos Santos shoes and it appears that you are biased to Carlos Santos even down to the box and packaging.. I would love to see both brands myself in person to draw my own conclusions. Good video and I appreciate what your doing.
Hi Lance, I don’t make them but I do retail them I usually make that very clear in the end of the video and the description. You can even see that this is my first ever video and not the best quality wise.
Of course I am a little biased, but they are genuinely good shoes for the price you pay. I wouldn’t have quit my corporate job to sell a brand I don’t believe in.
But I also retail Crockett and Jones. They began to grow on me but there are better options out there at least in the Handgrade pricing.
If you also watch videos such as the George Lyon Chukkas or the Septieme Largeur Jodhpurs, I am very enthusiastic to endorse a direct competitor to my shop.
As videos went by I learned to be more unbiased and I also learn more about shoes, flaws and expectations.
And yes the box of Crockett is garbage.
@@MisiuAcademy Kostas, I truly appreciate the feedback. I've been researching/looking at various brands and it's difficult to make a decision , especially when I cannot see the quality in person. Comparing them on websites or RUclips is not the same as in person.
More than likely I will purchase a pair of C&J, C. Santos each as I like both brands. My wife would appreciate the savings😆 lastly measurement wise I am an 11 1/2 how would determine the best fit in these brands?
you are welcome. There’s no need for you to spend extra and get CJ Handgrade (remember I retail them yet I tell you it’s not worth it unless you are a true enthusiast).
It depends about sizing. CJ runs true to size in many lasts and I would start there. If you have specific questions about specific lasts you can mail me! For Santos most run half a size larger so you should size down half extra.
If your average size on shoes like Allen Edmonds is US 11.5D then you need UK 10 on Santos and 10-10.5 depending on last for the Crockett. Actually if you head on my website I have a few Handgrade pairs (Lonsdale and Weymouth) for a big discount in those sizes as I am clearing stock.
@@MisiuAcademy I'm just getting into the shoe game and I own 3 pair of Magnnani's which we both know Vladimir Roche doesn't particularly like: lol and I can see why now. I ware a 10 1/2 US size in those if this helps with your suggestions. You've made a fan out of me and a future customer for sure and definitely a subscriber!
I appreciate it! Does magnanni print in US sizing there? If your general size is US 10.5D then I recommend UK 9 for most Carlos Santos lasts and 9.5 for the dressier Crockett Shoes! Sometimes magnanni tends to run large that’s why I am asking!
