Its in Lekki babe & yes they did an excellent job is such a short time frame. I can never get all that done for so cheap and so fast in Canada.

As a Nigerian myself everytime I travel to Nigeria I always get my hair braided back home, I paid $40 in U.S. dollars for knotless braids butt length it’s soo much cheaper than in the United States.
evadiva238 yes!! At my local salon in South Africa its around +- 20 dollars lol for knotless braids and people still complain lol. And I used to get my braids done in the UK back in 2006 for 60 pounds, I can imagine in 2020 its more than doubled.
@@Kim_Ngumbela it's still the same. It just depends where you go to get your hair done and which hairstyle, but single braids are cheaper than the other hairstyles.

its about 16 dollars where I am including the packs for braids and the "expensive" places charge 80,000 - 100,000 which is 20-30 dollars and people be boycotting them cuz of prices. I even remember one time I went to an american-owned wig store that was selling for like 100,000 (30 dollars) per wig and I nearly fainted XD.
Last Christmas, I had 4 girls braid my hair in Nigeria and it cost me $15. Compliments for days when I got back to California.

I went to Costa Rica for a few months and needed my hair done bad. Found a Afro Latina to do my whole head like this in 3 hours for $40 US dollars BY HERSELF! People who can do this are amazing.

Noooo body braids hair as well as west Africans especially my Nigerian people! One lady braided my hair so well and it didn’t hurt !! All for about $6 in US dollars, you can’t beat that!

Super tenderhead🤯, I got knotless braids I didn't shed one tear!! It was such a stress less session, I couldn't believe it. I haven't had my braided hair since 2001 because I cried 😭lmao so much the last time I got it braided😅. I took them out 7 days later because I was still in pain and my scalp was still red..smh
they are knotless and are tensionless it don’t feel like anything so light an the braids don’t hurt at all

I hate when more than one person braid my hair 😩 I had three people doing my braids once and I had three different size braids I had to go back to have them fix it 🥴 talk about pissed and head throbbin
That was wrong one should put the braids and the rest only does the finishes that what i do at my salon
2 braiders are usually the limit...As long as they're braided the SAME. and plus they finish faster
Not true to have different size braid even with more than 3 people.
Because the leader is checking the work of the others.
And generally they pick the other braiders based on the fact they are braiding the same way..
And it goes faster!
Only 2 of them was starting the braids and the rest just finished it

OMG I miss that! When this quarantine is up, Africa is first on my list. I can't wait to get back to Ghana and Nigeria! Less than $70 in U.S. dollars for that quality and length is awesome! I paid $40 in Jamaica for that as well. Just quality and a good experience for the price. Thank you for sharing this.

Knotless braids are the best....did mine the end of last month and still have them in. I would rather them then knotted braids and I find that they don’t pull out your hair like the knotted braids do

Personally, I would feel that I had taken advantage of the Ladies. I would have made sure each one had at least fifty dollars b/c that's a whole lot of work and they did an awesome job. I believe in treating ppl the way I wish to be treated. I LOVE being a true blessing to others. To me - Thats why God has so richly blessed me! Praise God!
Girl, this is africa... the quality of life and cost of living is not the same. They can easily live with braiding multiple people in the day at 40$

That's what they do in Africa! My mom got needle mircotwists, the super tiny ones, it took 4 braiders and 5 hours for $25 CAD! Easy! They even take it out for you!

I had that done before and specifically said don't braid my hair tight. The pain was so excruciating....never again. Now I braid my own hair. Never needed the extensions. Bless you😳😳😳😳felt like the pain was shooting through my body. I felt like killing someone. Finally I said that's enough. I couldn't deal.

I love it. What I like the most is the part to hair ratio. I hate when too much hair is added especially in the front and then scalpish in the middle, which is why I either do it myself or fly to out of town to the only braid salon that I know understands that concept.

She got butt length small box braids and 3 people worked on her head and girl my mom has *a lot* of thick long hair and it only took them 3 hours and it was 50-60 dollars😭 I love my people❤️😂

As a child, I always heard that it was bad luck to have more than two people in your head at the same time and you can’t just have ANYONE in your head.. though I didn’t believe it then, I spiritually believe in it in my late twenties.. only because energy travels. Question ladies, when they are cutting the hair flyaways at the top of your hair and down to the lenght of your hair is that you hair sticking out they cutting???
One person can not braid waist length braids in 3hrs....I braids and people want to know why it cost so much and it's time consuming. Someone charges 325 for that style in the states and only have 2-3 people braiding but I work alone and it takes for that size and length just me 5 1/2 maybe 6hrs at 225.00 around 37hr. They made 33 and hour doing her hair and had to slip it so basically that's 5.5hr per person for 3hrs. That is really cheap and they did an awesome job...Gob Bless them...

Yes I have. I’m from Texas and in my 50’s. My mom who is in her 80’s and was a hair dresser back in the day would tell us that when she saw 2 people on one head doing hair. It’s superstition.
