About two months back I was watching a Cleveland Indians game on TV (local Ohio sports channel). It turns out that McConaughey was in Cleveland filming a movie (CLE stands in for bigger cities like NYC all the time), and he just decided to take in a baseball game out of the blue. The guy didn't call up and order a suite to stay away from the crowd, he just bought 3 tickets for him and his two sons right down behind home plate. His kids were all decked out in Indians gear and he had a black hat on that said "alright" in big white letters on the front of it. He signed autographs for fans and everything. He seems like an incredibly cool dude.
Holy shit I did that at a Mets game. Minus the autographs.

I know it's a silly thing to brag about, but he got his hair cut at my son's barber here in Stuttgart, Arkansas when filming for the movie Mud. Such a smart and sexy man.

Matthew McConaughey is so strange to me. I always heard negative things about him, but then I actually watched him in movies, shows, and on talk shows... He's just always interesting to watch! Excellent performances, down to earth on his own. Dunno what people don't like about him.

Been watching this show for work since it started and watching Stephen since the 90s as a kid (had no idea what I was seeing back then). This is easily one of his best interviews of all time. It should make every highlight reel they ever do. I'm just supposed to clip the good parts and wound up making 5 drops because it was all so great. I mean damn, that was some good ass TV. And I get paid to watch TV.
