The entire purpose in Jesus life was to focus on his heavenly Father. He taught people to Love God, to Serve Him to pray to him. He himself showed the example by submitting to God on all occasions! He prayed fervently to God to save him. He taught us that "The hour is coming when the true worshipers will worship the FATHER|". He taught us to pray to his Father, through him. ( John 4:23,24)
