If it's something general like "where's milk" or "where's dog food" that's fine and any employee who has been there longer than a week or two should know that. I still dont understand how people can be so willing to hit, kick or run over employees.... I know, they dont consider them as people... But those karens must know assult is illegal. Even on animals.

"What would your boss think of you wasting 15 minutes making small talk to customers?" I'd have said, "Since I'm not on company time or company property, I don't see how it's any of his business."
Karens decide that you work there when: You're stocking shelves (even if you're just putting something back) You're helping another customer You're wearing earbuds You're wearing ANY kind of uniform You're talking to another employee And once she's decided that you work there, her mind CANNOT BE CHANGED. In her world, SHE would never put anything back. SHE would never help a customer. SHE would never be friendly with an employee. And NOBODY wears uniforms unless they work there. And because she's the most important person in the World, her opinions must be universally shared by everyone else.
You forgot one: "You're existing in the store" Sometimes that's all it takes to make a Karen think you work there. Karens think the world exists just to serve her!
On last story I work as a service tech and constantly go into various hardware stores for small parts like wires, pipe, light fixtures, etc So needless to say there are several employees at those stores that see me on a regular basis One day I was looking at some wire connectors and happened to help a woman who was trying to fix a power cord at her home amd I explained how to do it safely and showed her the tools and plug she'd need Right after that I had not 1 but 2 wild Karens stalk me as I went back to grabbing the parts I needed. One upon realizing I wasn't an employee apologized -- but I did point her to what she needed -- the other went rage mode when I said I didn't know when their next truck was arriving. I explained (and yes wearing a company shirt) that I just happened to know some of the stuff due to my job. She flipped apeshit when I walked away from her

Ok Dan I agree with you 100% if some self entitled person attacks me for no reason they are going to eat dirt and hit the ground before they know what was happening
One thing I’ve learnt from listening to these stories is this. If you are a manager or law enforcement officer and you are called to the “scene” with a Karen involved, the easiest way to identify the actual guilty party/Karen is because She/He will be the first person to speak to you, often loudly and often interrupting anyone else that’s trying to talk.
My bf and I had to go shopping about a week ago and a random lady asked, almost sheepishly, for help from my boyfriend. I could tell he was about to say he didn't work there when she says. "You seem to be very tall, and I am not, would you be so kind as to help me get (item I forget) off the top shelf? I would be so very grateful." My boyfriend and I chuckled, and he helped, I couldn't help but laugh more saying that I ask him to do things like that all the time because I am also vertically challenged compared to him.
One of these days, anyone in an aisle with another person who clears their throat is gonna get, "I don't work here", even if they were just clearing their throat.
I know I've said this before but has there ever, *ever* been an actual employee who pretended "they don't work there"? Because I don't believe there has.
If someone just says "ahem" or clears their throat at me, I'm ignoring them. I don't respond to that, at all. And I'm never polite to people like this. I will straight up tell them to fuck off. I'm normally nice, there has been more than one occasion where I've helped out old ladies reaching things (since I'm also rather tall). Ask nicely, and if it's something I can easily do like that I'll gladly help even if I don't work there.
I’m petty enough that if someone was being so clearly disrespectful at the beginning I’d let them think I was an employee just long enough so they were humiliated in the end. Make them think twice in treating an actual employee that way😁😂.
@@Serai3 I’m so sorry for your lack of literacy but read what OP said again. OP said nothing about himself. By the customer just leaving, it teaches Karen to continue her abusive ways. With that bank story, I think it belonged more in r/entitled people. They security person Did work there, their role there was acknowledged, as well as their "rented" status. The rich Karen was just demanding people who weren't present and demanding the bank operate while it was closed. It's not like she demanded the security operate the till or assumed some random pedestrian was on their way into the bank to work. She just demanded what wasn't available.
If you frequent enough youtube forum posts you see tons of similar posts. I flag them for as long as my interest in doing such hold, but they're clearly bot posts so it is like fighting a deluge with a kiddy bucket.
@@Derekloffin Yep, they are all bots. The only time a real person gets involved is if you message the telegram or whatsapp or whatever account they list. If you have the time to do that, you can waste their time (I gave a couple of them Homer Simpson's address and bank account information, poor Homer). But that takes time I don't often have. Banning the bots from youtube is basically whack a mole. The bot just immediately creates a new account.
there was an actual employee in a Walmart near us that had a customer break her ankle. The employee was stocking from a cart that had a lower shelf about ankle height and the Karen decided that the cart was in her way and smashed it out of her way with her shopping cart (didn't ask for it to be moved or try and gain the employee's attention in any way)
you must remember with Karens, IF THEIR LIPS ARE MOVING< THEY ARE LYING so she probably didn't have any kids in the car since people think having kids excuses them from anything
There needs to be legal protections for employees against these types of entitled people. Why should a business let these customers do what they want and get away with it just cause they're customers and the employees can't say anything without being scared of being fired? If a customer is being rude to the employees maybe they need to be banned as a way to screen out the types of customers allowed in an establishment and not until after they assault an employee or another customer.
If someone rammed a cart into my side just to get my attention, I would've went off of the lady. I don't care if it's at the place where I work at or if I do get fired. She had no right to ram a cart into her. I probably wouldn't do that. But still
As a bank employee, I can tell you that nobody reads signs. At all. Actually, it's not just bank customers. I've worked customer service for about half a decade and no customers reads the signs. The amount of customers that rattle locked doors, ring bells, and knock on the glass right next to the "closed" sign is astonishing.
Story 1 - I would have added to the fun by looking at Karen and saying "and now that I don't work here and no longer representing the store, I'm going to be waiting for you in the parking lot where we can have a nice discussion about you being so rude to me" (smack fist into palm). Story 2 - Yeah, I would have done a 300 "THIS IS SPARTA" kick on that cart right back into the lady. I really wish that something like this happened to me at a store. I'd have a great time as it happened and then I'd terrify the shit out of the Karen. It would be a story worth all the channels like this.
If someone rammed me with a cart, I'd push it aside, tipping it over if possible to let them know they fucked up and I'm rightfully pissed. Then again, that may land ME in trouble if anything were to break.
I had my first, I don't work here moment just last week. But, it was by a sane person so it didn't generate a story, just a moment of awkward smiles and getting on with life.
Yep I’ve been getting that a lot from fake celebrities profiles on instagram asking me if I have telegram I always ignore it cause I’m not that stupid 🤣
One lady followed me around and rammed me 3 times, then got escorted out of the store, where she had already been banned. Apparently, she was just crazy. It hurt me and I am older, too.
To the bank Karen, I use to work at a bank and one day they needed help at another branch is the richest area of the state, about an hour and a half drive. I was to help them out for 3 days and we had a guy call in and complain about our sprinklers. They were on a timer and he demanded we change the time they went off because they got his car wet when he drove by and went to work in the morning. Dude wasn’t even a customer. Bank actually changed the timers. I was dumbfounded
I will say this; anybody who rams me deliberately with a cart or grabs me aggressively is going to get flattened. I’m too old and cranky to put up with that kind of behavior.

Same here. I'm 6'4" and occasionally help shorter people. I have never encountered a rabid Karen in a retail business.
Same I'm 6'6" and help the vertically challanged in stores as well. 🤣
Never have had the chance to deal with a karen to date...but then I have a 6 or 7 inch long beard and look rather imposing even though Im generally a pretty friendly guy.
I’m a puny little 5’11” but have occasionally helped people get things from the top shelf. But now that I have knee and back trouble I have trouble getting things from the bottom shelf (or if I drop something) so have asked shorter people to help me in those situations. It takes all kinds!
As someone who does need the occasional help with help getting thing from the back of the top shelf thank you all.
As a disabled vertically challenged person, I thank you for your assistance.
ALWAYS PRESS CHARGES FOR ASSAULT WHEN A KAREN GRABS YOU!!! If you don’t they will continue to do that to other people.
I still dont understand how people can be so willing to hit, kick or run over employees....
I know, they dont consider them as people...
But those karens must know assult is illegal. Even on animals.
All of that paperwork would have been worth it to watch that lady get arrested. 😂
Oh heck yea!
"I'm taking my business someplace else." Oh, thank you.
Is that a promise?
Waiting for my turn to get mistaken for an employee at the grocery store. When they tell me that they are going to tell my manager, I’m just going to tell them to go for it and good luck with that. Just have to remember not to be wearing my actual work uniform while shopping as that could cause an issue.
I'd tell her, "I retired in 2014, I am my own 'manager'!" 😆
Karen: GET.ME.YOUR.MANAGER
Hero: Do you know who I am!?! I am YOUR manager Karen, you’re fired for harassing customers! You will leave this store NOW!
Best thing to do is IGNORE these crazy elderly karens who think you're an employee.
When they touch you out of frustration FREAK OUT.
They piss themselves and flee, trust me.
Story 3 and 4: Don't assault police because you will lose and get a felony charge along with ruining your life since a criminal record will screw your life in so many ways.
Karens assault cops because.... you know ... it always works out so well for her! BEAHAHAHA....! 😆
Who has access to your arrest record? Cops of course, but also the HR dept of present or future employers, Admissions Office of the college or university you have applied to, loan officer at the bank, management office where you want to rent an apartment, your psycho soon to be ex-wife's divorce lawyer.... you get the idea.
@@davidbriggs6086, whoever pays the fees will have access! 🤷🏼♂️🤔
@@davidbriggs6086 that sounds like a data protection nightmare.
Story 1: I've been in OP's shoes, I've somehow been mistaken as an employee while wearing a Johnny the Homicidal Maniac t-shirt and fishnets.
Wow. Just ... wow. I assume this didn't happen in a Hot Topic store, then?
@@lorirommel519 Happened in a petsmart! If it were like, an Ulta or somewhere maybe I could see the mistake, since I wear solid black, but, petsmart???
I mean the fishnets would sell it for me
Photos?
"You will help me, because you know things."
"75 bucks an hour, paid in advance. No proration and our business is done the moment you leave the store."
Re: Story 2
Karen: **rams me with her cart**
Me: **Anger issues activate**
Karen: "Oh poop."
NEVER EVER GIVE A KAREN WHAT SHE WANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And when one commits assault (like ramming someone with a grocery cart), she needs to be arrested!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Personally, if I were rammed by a shopping cart, I would have hammed it up, falling over and screaming that I was assaulted. I would bet you any sum of money that the Karen would have booked it away from me lol. I don't care if I was a customer or employee, I would have done it either scenario.
Edit: I find it funny that Fluff did a PSA about about imposter spam, and 2 hours later I get exactly that lol
Isn’t it good to know you’re not just some ordinary winner - you’re a _great_ winner.
Seems English isn’t this scammer’s strong suit.
@@autonomouscollective2599 Some of them deliberately do it to weed out the people who are smart enough to spot their scam, so they only get the idiots who can be "taken" for all they're worth.
S4: These karens who just grab people really piss me off because I can recall shopping and some woman asking me questions and then grabbing me when I turned to walk away. Those stupid women regretted putting their hands on me and even begged me to not have them charged for assaulting me. Placing your hands on a federal employee is a big no-no. You bet your arse I pressed charges.
@Darkfluff, you have two of the Army Values that i personally live by every single day, Honor and Integrity, and for that, you definitely have earned my utmost respect
"What would your boss think of you wasting 15 minutes making small talk to customers?"
I'd have said, "Since I'm not on company time or company property, I don't see how it's any of his business."
Karens decide that you work there when:
You're stocking shelves (even if you're just putting something back)
You're helping another customer
You're wearing earbuds
You're wearing ANY kind of uniform
You're talking to another employee
And once she's decided that you work there, her mind CANNOT BE CHANGED.
In her world, SHE would never put anything back. SHE would never help a customer. SHE would never be friendly with an employee. And NOBODY wears uniforms unless they work there.
And because she's the most important person in the World, her opinions must be universally shared by everyone else.
You forgot one:
"You're existing in the store" Sometimes that's all it takes to make a Karen think you work there. Karens think the world exists just to serve her!
@@nancyomalley6286 They seem to think that the rest of the human race is put on this earth just to serve them as slaves.
Story 1. I just wish as he quit the others understood and went into drama mode, making it clear they were making fun of Karen.
On last story
I work as a service tech and constantly go into various hardware stores for small parts like wires, pipe, light fixtures, etc
So needless to say there are several employees at those stores that see me on a regular basis
One day I was looking at some wire connectors and happened to help a woman who was trying to fix a power cord at her home amd I explained how to do it safely and showed her the tools and plug she'd need
Right after that I had not 1 but 2 wild Karens stalk me as I went back to grabbing the parts I needed. One upon realizing I wasn't an employee apologized -- but I did point her to what she needed -- the other went rage mode when I said I didn't know when their next truck was arriving. I explained (and yes wearing a company shirt) that I just happened to know some of the stuff due to my job. She flipped apeshit when I walked away from her
After a rough day I love to watch darkfluff
Fluff thanks for entertaining me and making me think a little less about my moms cancer🥺🖤
Fuck Cancer! I hope she makes it!
I have also spotted this spammer in several comments. How brazen can this bot be?
0:28 There's SO MANY comments getting the same spam comment from OTHER RUclipsrs as well. Including me!JESUS CHRIST why are their so many bots and spam comments!? 😬😳😠
Bank story: I bet that woman with “millions” was overdrawn. Lol
Story 4 : in Thailand, we have a newly viral phrase that said "Having mother only when you're ready"
7:13 bear in mind that she just admitted to assaulting OP with a cart, and now she wants a non-worker fired. One customer assaulting another could get a person banned from the place, and I believe most likely that she was already banned to begin with.
Story 4: I love how a commenter response to the story and couldn't agree more. Lucky your superior was understanding and let you have the rest of the day off.
The entitled lady's no doubt got in serious trouble for leaving her kids in a car for long period of time too.
Story #3: if you think Karen's and Kevin's are a blast to deal with, try dealing with their crotch goblins, especially the older teens
Yeah I remember this person going around scamming people they even tried doing it to me but I was a lot more smarter than that
If someone just says "ahem" or clears their throat at me, I'm ignoring them.
I listen to these while I do homework or work on my YT channel… great job guys
How is it that Karens who are normally incapable of distinguishing employees from customers always seem to be able to find the manager?
Story 1,2,3 and 4 - Far better to keep silent & be thought a Karen than to open your mouth & remove all doubt!
I’m petty enough that if someone was being so clearly disrespectful at the beginning I’d let them think I was an employee just long enough so they were humiliated in the end. Make them think twice in treating an actual employee that way😁😂.
Anyone, anywhere shoves a grocery cart at me gonna have fun trying to get themselves untangled from the cart. 🤭🤭🤭🤭
Story 1: Yeah I agree all he did was make her feel like she won and encourage her to keep doing that.
I was looking for this comment! 💯 Exactly!
So he should have endured more abuse just to make you feel good about the story? Grow up.
@@Serai3 I’m so sorry for your lack of literacy but read what OP said again. OP said nothing about himself. By the customer just leaving, it teaches Karen to continue her abusive ways. Next, she’ll move onto her next victim sooner and more aggressively. Maybe the next will be you? Or someone you love? It has NOTHING to do with the story but about morality. That may not be something that a self-serving person would understand, though.
@@darlenefraser3022 Sooner or later this Karen will find herself wearing steel bracelets as a fashion accessory and being carted off to jail wearing an orange jumpsuit.
@@audreyricci6383 I just hope that r/slash gets the story! 😝
"C'mon Karen, think!" For some reason made me actually laugh out loud 🤣!!!!
She just demanded what wasn't available.
in story 1, asking Karen to think is like praying for snow in the middle of summer!
Not going to happen!
You should also inform people to report the scam comments. That way they get removed and someone else doesn't get hurt in any way.
The universal reason that people don't work customer service anymore: CUSTOMERS. 😬😂
Thank you, Mr. Fluff, for all of these most excellent stories. Im learning much about the wild species known as Karen.😊
Hey fluff instead of us having a wonderful day I hope you have one instead!
👊👊👊👊🥹
SCAMMER!
Oh boy. Someone rams a cart into me on purpose, they're getting it rammed right back.
I knew that was a scammer. I was actually just about to tell you about it so you'd know
Bruh you a troll *salutes*
Every single time I post on youtube, on any channel, I get at least one of those. I report them, but youtube doesn't care to do anything about it.
@@StormsparkPegasus *oof*
The employee was stocking from a cart that had a lower shelf about ankle height and the Karen decided that the cart was in her way and smashed it out of her way with her shopping cart (didn't ask for it to be moved or try and gain the employee's attention in any way)
It would be funny if it turned out that Rick Karen was not rich
They rarely are, their more often just spoiled and/or entitled
The Karen's are beginning to evolve trying to be scammers for our money
you must remember with Karens, IF THEIR LIPS ARE MOVING< THEY ARE LYING so she probably didn't have any kids in the car since people think having kids excuses them from anything
Karen from 3rd story: "DAT SIGN DOSN'T STOP ME BECUSE I CAM'T REED"
Ramming the woman with a cart is assault! That woman is lucky to not have been taken by the cops!
Story 4:
Yea OP, "a big store with smaller stores inside" is a mall. A "Supermarket" is a singular large store - think Walmart.
Karen: (hits her hand off metal shelf) FIRE HER!! SHE DID THIS TO ME!!
Me: (internally) Umm...Ma'am...
YOU DID THAT!!!!
Remember kids, ALWAYS press charges on Karens if given the opportunity to do so. It's your civic duty.
5:00 "...you know the little candy hearts that nobody seem to like?" I like them, I'm also one of the few people who actually like candy corn.
(I also like NECCO wafers, (especially the liquorice flavored ones). They are basically made of the same thing as those candy hearts.)
I had a few "you have won" mails but I figured you had more class than that
I think the "IDontWorkHereLady" ones are my favorite. My favorite favorite are wheelchair stories. Idk why.
I love those little hearts.
I like them, but they’re very sweet so I can’t eat too many.
Deliberately ramming a cart into someone is an invitation to get your ass kicked.
If Karens had the ability to think, they wouldn't be Karens.
